Wow, the maps are beautiful! I never bothered with them, thinking they'd be mostly like the ones in the parks. Thanks for the tip - they'll make nice mementos

I ordered these maps about 3 months ago. I love them! Then I thought, why did I order them now? I should have waited until after our trip so I could make them like souvenirs.

So, once my 6 months is up, I am going to reorder them and only put the attractions that we actually did! Good idea right?

Excellent idea!!! They are pretty enough to hang up don't you think??

That is EXACTLY why I do all my own ADRs! I like to be in control of as much as I can. Plus I knew I was going to do some tweaking of ressies...
Oh I did my own ADR's too; I was just confirming the hotel part.

There should be absolutely no problem adding 1 person to your party on arrival. A very kind CM told me that the tables were basically "even". Going from 5 to 6, or even dropping from 5 to 4 works w/o having to cancel an ADR. He told me that if you have greater/less than 2 in your party then a whole new ADR would have to be done and it gets difficult at that point if your trip is close.

Now see that's what I thought too...thanks DM. You gotta work with the CM's sometimes....

Nice maps!! I didn't even know you could do that...and I call myself an expert. I think I will definitely have to order some of those maps when we get home and put them in my Disney scrapbook.

Ooohhh, I am so excited for you! I haven't been on the boards in a while, and remembered your trip was this month, so I thought I'd stop by and visit! I love love love your packing! I can't wait to hear how it works out! We also ordered the custom maps! I think they're great, and the kids really enjoy looking at them. Your hairbows and shirts look great! I'm really inspired! I need to get going on lamenating my Mickey Heads! (that was kind of random, wasn't it?) I also like your green polish for your toes, last year we used glow-in-the-dark polish, it shows up in the black lights of the rides, very cool! Since it was clear in regular light, maye you could put a coat on over your green polish!

Well, I hope you and your family have a fantastic trip! I'll say a little prayer for you all!

Awww shucks, thanks Beana! When did you teach? Do you want to teach again? I am afraid if I stopped working I wouldnt ever want to go back....(my DH is afraid of that too )

I used to teach 1st and 2nd, then this past November I was hired to be an educational technology specialist (teaching teachers how to integrate technology into their lessons) I miss the kids, but know this is my calling... Keep up the awesome writing!

Cindy...they are huge...too big for a scrapbook plus they are double-sided. I am actually going to get a poster hanger from Michaels and hang them in the play room. I just posted on your thread.....Yeahhhhhhh your big day is almost here!!! Have a great trip...call me so we can meet up!

You are very observant They wear them everyday since they have gotten them...so do I...they just slip on so easily and are so comfy! As far as the packing ideas, steal away!

Good Morning to all...its the first full day of summer vacation. I awoke to 55 F and overcast....brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I cant take this going back and forth between 88 and humid to 55 and freezing all within a few days. But nothing can dampen my joy at realizing its 3 more days!!!!!! Please help yourself to tea, coffee and hot chocolate and buttery croissants...yummy!

We woke up to quite a weather change yesterday morning also (and today!)...and I live a bit further south than you (NC). DH's relatives live up in your neck of the woods, though.

The other night, my DH took DD9 fishing. They fished off of the jetty and caught lots of fishies. They are planning on fishing at POR in the little fishing hole they have. Apparently they provide poles, bait and whatever else you need. I think its like $6 or something for a half hour. Sounds great!

Sounds like so much fun!

TWO more days, right?? Busy weekend here at our house, so if I don't have a chance....have a WONDERFUL trip!! Thanks again for all your hospitality and bow making instructions

I'll be waiting to hear all about your trip!

Hi Deb - How are you feeling today??? I hope lots better....have another cup of tea I can't believe its the weekend before! I need to learn that time-warp stuff to slow it down...sure wish we could stay for two weeks! Thanks for reading and helping me along!
