Has anyone had these? I'm roughly 3 weeks away from my longest Orlando trip ever (3 full weeks in April) and I suddenly have a big case of the angsties.

Part of the problem is that I'm staying offsite at my Marriott timeshare the first couple weeks. (Cypress Harbour near SeaWorld.) It's a beautiful place and the first timeshare I ever stayed in. Newly remodeled, two bedroom/two bath/full size laundry room in unit. But my brain is obsessed with SSR.

I keep telling myself that I'll be in a bigger unit for a longer time. I know I'll get free internet at Marriott. And the drive into Disney really isn't that long. 10-15 minutes perhaps. (Makes you realize how petty these "my resort is closer than yours" debates are.)

But there's no accessible pool for me the first two weeks. No late night EMHs. And no easy walking to DTD. (We have to drive over and find a place in that screwy parking lot.)

I dunno. Maybe I've just burned myself out with all my trip planning. I half want to chuck the itinerary out the window and just pretend I live down there for a while. I could sure use some sun and warmth about now. Winter has gotten so old in Maryland these days.

I think it's the winter thing. Winter has gotten way too long here in Indiana also.

Snowing here in Illinois yet again!

Buck up, Brogan! Just kidding but three weeks in Florida is sweet indeed. Maybe you should toss out the itinerary at least for a few days and just relax.

Have a great trip!:cool1:

Thanks guys. I think Monday has a lot to do with it too. My work schedule is flexible (which means I pretty much work a bit every day just at different hours) so you'd think Monday was just any other day. Still I hate Mondays, always have since my school days.

Just to chear myself up I went looking on II for September. Found I could book a 3-bedroom unit at Grande Vista the week before our 14-day DVC trip in a studio. With all the talk about the lacking studio amenities, it makes me interested in staying in a fully furnished Marriott unit before.

Course my luck, Orlando will probably get hit with a major hurricane that time. It is Sep 21-Oct 11.

Ooooh! Just call me Eeyore and be done with it.

I get it. I have a trip planned for a mere 8 nights in April and am kicking myself that I booked the airfare and didn't try to stay longer. We will be at SSR from 4/9-4/17 though so I look forward to some serious resort time.

I would plan some at-Disney things while you are off property-maybe visit the resorts etc... to get some magic back :) Your maps of SSR are great, btw.
