Pre-Park opening bus from Epcot to Hollywood Studios

My day will begin at Hollywood Studios at opening and end at closing at Epcot.

I need to find out if it would be possible to park at EPCOT early morning and take a park to park bus to Hollywood Studios and be there in time for opening. This way 1/2 way through the day I could take the boat to EP and have the car right there for the end of the day.

Does anyone know - by experience - that this will actually work?

I can't really get an answer from Disney from anyone who sounds confident that this can be done. I can't chance it as this trip I only have two days at Disneyworld and I can't mess up and not be at Studios for opening.

Please help. My other option is to park at HS and take boat back there after EP at night but Im afraid I'll miss boat and 75yo mom cant walk back that far.

If being at DHS for opening is essential than I would just park there in the morning.

If by chance you do miss the last boat to DHS at the end of the night you could always walk back to the car yourself and have your mom meet you at the entrance to either boardwalk or beach club (not a much longer walk than to the boat), you could drive over to the hotel and pick your mother up there

I would also say that if being at DHS for opening is that critical, park at DHS. Resort to park buses start running early, but I don't know about park to park buses.

When you're ready to head to Epcot, either take the boat (~35 minutes) or drive over to Epcot. It's a really short drive, so time wise might be pretty similiar.

If you leave your car at DHS, note that the last boat from Epcot to DHS leaves about 1 hour after DHS closes. After that, the boat goes from Epcot to BW to BC/YC to S/D and the back (skips the DHS leg). In terms of walking, I'd have your Mom take the boat to BW and then go out front. In terms of walking, Beach Club lobby is closer (about 0.1 miles) than BW. The walk from Epcot to DHS is about 1.1 miles.

Park-to-park buses start about 1 hour before the parks open. If both Epcot & DHS are opening at 9, you should be able to get a bus from Epcot around 8.

If you decide to park at DHS, and boats are no longer available, another option is the short walk to the Beach Club & a taxi to DHS, which should run about $7 + tip.

Buses will available from the front of Epcot to DHS until Epcot is clear of guests. I'm assuming you're not considering this because of the walk from WS to the front of Epcot.

Thank you everyone for your great suggestions.

I was trying to plan my second Disney day this afternoon, and therefore looked to see the extra magic hours (so that I could avoid the park with morning EMH). Then it hit me to look and see what time Studios closes on my Studios/Epcot day. Well wouldn't you know it! HS has pm EMH on the day I need to go back for my car. So as it turns out we should have no problem getting back to the car because boats should be carrying guests to HS for nighttime hours. Horray...wow this is one of those rare times that things actually worked out in my favor.
I think I'll buy a lottery ticket in the morning.
