Pre-ordering photopass

I have it pre-ordered. Do you have to sign back in with the same information that you signed up with when you odered it in order to put the photopass cards on the account?

I was told when I called last year because I was having issues with my account and I was told yes by the CM. I had to fiqure out the sign in information again on the old account.
