pre-check-ins???

So I have read a few posts that talk about people calling the hotels for pre-check-ins. Cam someone enlighten me to what this is or does? We are heading to Disney tomorrow and staying at the Grand. I called them after booking our trip and asked if I could request bunkbeds. They were nice and said they would write that down but nothing is guaranteed. My girls would just be over the moon if we could get them the bunkbed room. Do you think that is something I could request again right before we fly in? Is that what you do when you do an early check-in? Any idea's?

Yes! Calling first thing in the morning has always worked for me! If you are not in concierge, they assign rooms in the morning. The CM at concierge told me concierge rooms are assigned in advance! Good luck! My girls liked the bunk beds too!
