Prayers To Help Bring Pepper Home!

Our cat Pepper has been missing since Tuesday. I'm just heartbroken and the kids are frantic; they grew up with Pepper.

We've put the posters out, visiting the shelters, vet offices, apartment complexes and businessess around us and I'm moving farther out as the days pass. I've put an ad up on craigslist and on a few other online sites, as well as emailed Pepper's picture to all of the vets and shelters I could find online that are within a 20 mile radius.

I visited a cat rescue organization that's about a mile from here and the lady working there told me that more than likely Pepper was killed by a coyote and now I just cannot get that image out of my mind. I didn't say anything to the kids about it.

More than anything I want Pepper to come home, and I know that sometimes pets do find their way home after quite a bit of time has passed, but please say a prayer that he isn't scared or injured, and that if the worst happened it was quick, and he didn't suffer.

Prayers definitely sent. keep the faith. It is springtime and Pepper is probably just really enjoying all of the sights, sounds and smells!

I have been there not too long ago, my Jack-Jack went missing and I feared the same things you are worrying about. Praying that Pepper shows up soon. What a beauty, btw!

Thanks everyone! I keep trying not to cry...but it's hard. The lady at the cat rescue place spoke sternly to me about always keeping cats indoors and since I was already feeling so badly about it, now it's making it worse because I know it's my fault!

Tiki, still hoping that Pepper comes home to you. LeeLee is still out too. My husband keeps telling me he just knows some old lady in an RV (we have a dealership and service station behind our house) picked LeeLee up and is taking him cross country on a trip.... I know he's just trying to make me feel better.

I just said a prayer for Leelee and Pepper. I hope they both make their way home soon.
Maybe someone took them in.
I know our last stray cat, wasn't really stray as it turned out he was fixed. He must have wondered far from his home since no one in our area was missing him. Sometimes cats wonder.
But I do no one thing, prayer for pets on the disboard usually work.

Thanks, everyone...nolacindy, I'm thinking good thoughts for LeeLee.

A woman called me yesterday to tell me she'd seen our posters, and that she has seen Pepper in the playground by her house on occasion in the past; she said she'll call me if she sees him again.

So at least the word is getting out.
