I do not know whether to ask for prayers for myself or my dad. He is having prostrate surgery on Tuesday, so I need to go to my parents for the week and take care of him and my mom, all at once :scared: My mom has Parkinson's, Emphysema and numerous other health problems, so dad is her caretaker... except for the week I stay down every month and even then I am really just there to give dad a decent conversation :p

So, I am off tomorrow for the week and will be back late Friday afternoon. Maybe when they both are napping I can try and sneak on to VMK. Of course, I might be sleeping just as well or passed out from exhaustion :faint:

Will miss you all :grouphug:

***********************

It is Tuesday night and my dad's surgery went VERY WELL :cool1: The prostrate was so :crowded: that the urethra was just about closed off :scared: We got to the hospital at 5:30am, they took him back at 7:30am, I came back to my parent's place to get mom's breakfast, and then back to the hospital I went... only to have missed the Dr. by 3 minutes :scratchin Then mom called and needed me back at the house ... I felt like I was trapped in a revolving door :crazy2:

Finally got dad home about 12:15pm, then made lunch for them both, and sent dad off to bed to get some rest. Kind of fun telling dad what he can and cannot do ::yes:: He goes to the Dr. on Thursday to see about having the cat theater (:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: ) taken out.

I just want to say :thanks: for all the well wishes, thoughts, prayers, and pixiedust: as it meant alot to me and my dad and I showed him the posts :goodvibes

Was GREAT to be able to hop onto VMK for the close and be with alot of caring people :goodvibes

Again, my dad sailed through the surgery, is home and doing well, and we BOTH appreciate the well wishes :thumbsup2
