As said a number of times here, Julie, so many advances in prostate cancers, even in just the last few years. Please do update when you can. Good he was diagnosed, and ready for treatment. My best, prayers will be said for him, all of you.

look for some books for children dealing with a parent with cancer, your husband's dr. might know some titles, your childrens dr, or your local library.

My thoughts, prayers and well wishes are coming your way. Fighting cancer is a scary process but a very do-able one if cought early. It's just amazing to me the treatment options that are available today that weren't around when my dad was diagnosed in the early 1980's.

Here's hoping that your husband responds well to the treatments and is back to his "normal" self as soon as possible.

I am very familiar with the cancer curse and know what scary times these are for your family . I am so sorry, but glad your DH was diagnosed early in the stage. Many prayers are headed yours and DH's way for a successful surgery, treatment and complete recovery. Prayers also that your children will manage without too much disruption ((hugs)). Easier said than done, I know, but think positive and keep the faith. ^i^

i am very sorry for you
my ex-huband was diagnosed with lymphoma in august - he is 40 - its been very hard because my son and him are best friends and he is still very close to me and my entire family-my son is 12
this has been very hard for us
its a huge struggle but he has this amazing attitude that gets us through it
we have told my son about the treatments
and he still stays with my ex on the weekends -even if he is just done with chemo
im not sure if its the right thing to do but my son wants to go and help his dad and i let him
he's very aware of the chemo treatment and we visit him alot when hes in the hospital
i have books that i bought in august some people recomended to me when i posted about it
