Prayers for my Husband

My husband is the rock of my children's world and has been diagnosed with prostate cancer at the age of 44. Please, if you would, say a prayer for all of us. My husband is my world and it will be hard on my boys - they're scared (as am I). It will be particularly hard on my youngest as my husband's treatment requires him to keep a "safe" distance from his son for two months and that will devastate both of them ...

I am so sorry to hear this. Cancer is so cruel. Prostate cancer is something I have become familaiar with because my dad was diagnosed 3 years ago this coming May. Prostate cancer can be something that all men will most likely get if they live long enough and something else will more than likely kill them (very slow growing) or it can be an agressive kind that has already spread outside the wall of the prostate.

Do you know which kind he has? is surgery an option? My dad's is the agressive form and he cannot have surgery. They are just doing treatments to prolong his life as long as possible or until a cure might be found.

My thoughts and prayers are with your DH and your family. He is so young. I hope treatment can help him be a survivor.
