Our pets are such an important part of our lives and families and I hope Rain is back to full health quickly. I'll put in some prayers to St. Francis to keep an eye on Rain and hasten her recovery.

We have spoken with the vet today and Rain's prognosis is very poor.

She was fine a week ago yesterday and then on Monday morning, she was a very sick little dog.

Rain has had exploratory surgey which showed a different problem than what was originally thought.

The vet now thinks she might have a an intracellular parasite which is throwing everything off.

The numbers from her blood work are the exact opposite of what they should be.

Numbers that should be low are high and numbers that should be high are low. Everything seems to be going in the wrong direction.

Rain needs a miracle.

Please keep my sweet little puppy in your prayers.

You all will be in my family's prayers tonight and for the forseeable future. I'm glad the vet seems to have a better idea about what is going on with poor Rain. Keep your hopes up, more than once one of my pets has been very ill with a poor prognosis and yet with patience and prayers, they have pulled through.
