My prayers go out to Brendle and her family. I've always supported St. Jude's and the wonderful miracles they make happen in an ill child's life. Hopefully they can do the same for Brendle and her family.

DH learned on Friday that, after 11 years, his employer can no longer afford to keep him in his employ. He will be paid through the end of December.

Any good thoughts you could offer would be appreciated, as this has come out of left field. This is not the economy nor the time of year to find yourself unemployed.

Of course, we have a WDW trip scheduled for a week and a half from now. NO idea what we're going to do.

i don't usually ask for this, but any good thoughts you have would be appreciated. about 3 weeks ago, my grandfather (dad's dad) was diagnosed with pretty much untreatable pancreatic cancer. tonight my mom called to let me know that my grandma (mom's mom) was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. they don't knowhow treatable it is yet.

my grandfather's prognosis is not good, and since his wife died 3 years ago, i think he's really just given up. i am still waiting on more news about my grandmother.

There is a 3 yr old boy whose father I went to school with that lives in our hometown. 2 weeks ago the boys mom was mowing when the little boy ran out to tell his mom something. She accidentally backed over him, while the blades were still engaged. Without getting graphic, the boy has had 5 ribs removed, several organs have had major damage incuding the total rebuilding of his intestines and his arm got mangled also. Right now the Doctors are just trying to fight infection to give him hope. Please pray for little Mason and his family and above all ask for Gods will. Thank You.

Prayers to all. I would like to ask for some for my dad. We found out today that he has to have a quadruple bypass (open heart surgery) on Monaday or Tuesday. One of his ateries is 98% blocked and the others are between 75% and 60%. Thanks for all the good thoughts.

Just want to say thanks for the pixie dust you sent last week, after I ruptured a tendon in my calf. I am still not walking, but it is feeling better and definitely on the mend. Hope to get back to teaching next week sometime.
