PPO Disadvantage? CP and TH

I think this is more strategy than restaurant- so hopefully this is the right place. Planning a trip last week of October into November. Five adults, 1 yo, 4 yo. We would like to do Crystal Palace for tradition and Tusker House for something new.

We prefer early/PPO breakfast. I understand with new RD process, CP isn't the advantage it used to be, but is it a big disadvantage? We wouldn't be going for 7DMT or PP, but maybe some other fantasyland attractions or BTMRR. I am fine not having an advantage but don't want a big disadvantage.

Same with Tusker House- what would it disadvantage us for? Kids would probably want Safari, which seems like it would be easy. But if some adults attempted to go back to Pandora or EE? I realize Pandora is an unknown, but ADR is coming up regardless!!

Thanks!

We had no trouble getting out of TH quickly. We had an 8:15a ADR and didn't get there early (must have JUST missed a bus and had to wait). We ate our fill and saw all but one character twice. We were out before 9am and hit the Safari at the same time as RD people. We got in a ride vehicle in minutes.

CP may or may not be similar. I find that character meals with fur-characters are a little quicker (people tend to chat longer with face-characters).

As far as I know there is no advantage anymore to doing Crystal Palace PPO. Everyone is already in the hub so when you exit the restaurant, you'll be with everyone else and not able to get back to new fantasyland.

Since you are not going for the 2 'get-there-first' rides in Fantasyland, I would say PPO CP is neutral. You will just queue up behind all of those already waiting at the rope you are targeting.

Tusker House should still be an advantage. With the caveat of not knowing what the experience will be for getting from PPO TH to Pandora once it opens.

In both buffets, ask for the check at the beginning or early into the meal. I waited forever for my check at Tusker House a year ago - luckily it was on our way out of the park and not while a timer for the next fastpass was ticking away. So, make sure that you eliminate that variable.

It can't hurt to make the ADR - it's always easier to cancel, than to find an early morning ADR.

Is BOG still an advantage? We do not plan to do 7DMT or PP, have fps for M&G Cinderella, PP and ETWB, but had planned to get Ariel and/or possibly Pooh done.

We had an 8:00 ADR and we were able to eat (not too rushed) and get in the line for 7DMT and rose twice before line started getting filled with RD people. If waking up early and hurrying to get there is your thing then go for it! Lines are never terrible for Ariel early in the day. WTP would be helpful because there's always a pretty decent line for some reason. It's also fun to be there for a relatively quiet Main Street! Enjoy!

From recent reports PPO BOG is still an advanatage. But, it's more of an advantage if you want to do 7DMT, the only ride you can get on before official opening. Otherwise, you are in the front of the crowd and only able to queue up for the other rides (I've seen that people line up for Peter Pan before 9:00 after riding Mine Train, I am assuming that you would be able to get on line for Pooh similarly).

Yes, I think the plan is to ride Pooh, Ariel, then back for the 9:20 fp for Belle. Or, Rapunzel, then Pooh. Have a fp for Cinderella. I may be one of the few, but I absolutely hated 7DMT, also my husband wasn't all that fond of it, and he pretty much likes everything.

Thank you. This is exactly the feedback I was looking for.
