We are planning a half day at Epcot. Our main attractions for our preschooler are going to be the Frozen ride, anna and Elsa, turtle talk and Nemo. Some of the adults might be interested in Test track or soarin. Would a PPO ADR help us in our touring or would it be necessary? I have a breakfast and lunch booked at Akershus and will cancel one.

If your breakfast at akershus is a PPO, I would suggest keeping it and try to standby one of the frozen attractions, while using a later FP for Soarin since its in the other side of the park from where you will be. Depending on tiers, I would FP the other Frozen attraction as well.

We are here right now so nofroze. In epcot yet. But we were able to eat get out and meet the rope drop crowd at test track and ride that and mission space without fp. Have they confirmed that any of the frozen stuff will open before 11 am when the countries open

When is your trip? If it is after they already open frozen then maybe wait until you know more on how and when the ride opens. And then plan accordingly. I have a PPO for Akerhous just simply to see how frozen goes, but my trip is still 4 months away so hopefully I will know more before I go.

Our trip is in September. I had not thought about the frozen attractions not opening until later in the day.

Exactly we haven't heard word on how this ride will open with it being in the showcase (opens at 11am) while the future world opens at 9am on non-EMH days. Correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure Maelstorm opened with Showcase at 11am. It is good to keep in mind that they very well could leave it to open with the showcase. I am really hoping to learn more about it once it opens. But for now once our FP selection date comes around I am hoping for Frozen FP otherwise we will wait til evening/night time and just bite the bullet and get in the standby line.

While Maelstrom was an awesome attraction (RIP), its popularity is not even in the same stratosphere as Frozen. If I were a betting woman, I would say FEA will open at 9.... But time will tell.

Good luck to all of us strategizing!
