PPF & its a SW walkway closed??

Last night at 7:30 we tried to get from Philarmagic to the haunted mansion but the walkway at PPF and "Its a SW" was closed for the fear of fireworks debris.

We don't remember this was ever closed before are we right??

As I recall, they usually only close the area right behind the castle, like up through the carousel. The walkway betwen PPF and IASW is typically open. Maybe they had unusual winds causing concern?

That was going to be my guess. Maybe not "unusual" but not from the standard direction.

I have seen it happen a few times before. Yesterday, there was a sign up earlier in the day with an advance warning right before that area.

We’ve experienced this. A lot has to do with the direction and strength of winds each evening.

OP here, Yes I saw that sign earlier in the day but I did thought it was for the normal area. Thanks for the replies.
