Smile, this too shall pass. Good luck......
LOL - I sure do hope so!
We've really seriously tried it all. Last summer when he was 2.5 we had him on the potty chair and now it's a full year later. Of course we stopped for a month or two last summer and restarted, then in the fall, then after Christmas, then after.....you get the idea.
I admit, i've even resorted to telling him that he's a baby because babies wear and poop in diapers (I know, i'm scaring him for life) but sometimes I just can't deal with it. He waits for the minute we're out at a store and poops, or the park, or at the Dentist. It's so frustrating and so messy. The superflush is now just a minor issue however we rarely make it to the potty in time at the store anyways.
He has 4 new Thomas cars waiting on a shelf in plain view for when he goes. He knows they're there and wants them, so hopefully one day it will just "click". It's nice to hear i'm not the only one in this position and that it may very well last until he's 4.
Thanks.
