i have to say mine was seeing my brothers at the grand for pics. i have always had them around and getting ready in the morning wit out them was not the same. once we were together it was a special day
I have not been on in a while. I have been super busy and I am tryong to stay offline but I am doped up from a surgery so I am entertaining myself right now. I do love seeing the pics from the Disney weddings!
Happiest moment: This was right after we were married and I could not stop smiling and bouncing around I was so giddy. I have many happy moments but I really like this one.
How about going back a little in time and sharing a picture from when you got engaged or if you're a VR bride your original wedding Here is our engagement which took place on stage at the auditorium where we had our first date (to see an opera!) He was living in another state at the time and had mailed me clues during the week which sent me on a scavenger hunt eventually ending at the theater. One stop included a spa for a facial and massage
I don't have a picture of our engagement, but it was the day I came home from Iraq. He had put flowers in every room of the house. I gathered them together to take a picture, so it looks kinda weird, but they were all over the house!!
We were engaged on a cruise to Key West, he proposed on our room balcony as the sun rose that morning over the island (we're both from the Fl Keys, so it was a special place)
The sunrise right before he proposed....I was in my pjs and had my hair all a mess..little did I know what he was planning 2 minutes later!
This was our engagement picture. DH took this one himself a few minutes before he got down on one knee and proposed. I had no clue - zero - none - that he was about to propose! We'd been together 9 months and even though we talked about marriage and knew we'd get married "someday" I had no idea that "someday" was about to happen! We were engaged at night on the beach, that's why the pictures is so dark. Someone on the beach snapped a picture right during the proposal but never came up to us so I have no idea who in the world has a picture of the proposal!
I like hearing everyone's stories. I don't have any pictures for this, as DH never really asked, we just kind of mutually agreed and bought a ring together.
Betsy, I love your new haircolor, very pretty. Sending you my best wishes for your surgery.
This is us at our engagement at the Melting Pot in Orlando. We don't usually eat out and almost never do we go to nice restaurants when we do (cuz we're cheap! ) so I knew something was up when we went to the Melting Pot! We got to the restaurant and they led us to our table where there were 3 red roses on the table and all the hostesses and servers were giggling... I knew it was coming!!!!
Here's me showing off the bling on my facebook and myspace the next day!
He was working there (at Pearl Harbor) and my mom and I flew out to visit him for a few days.
The only day of the trip my mom wasn't with us, we went to North Shore to "swim with sharks" (in a huge cage thing)
On the way home, we stopped at some beach, no one else was there, just us.
While I have to admit I was suspicious, he did catch me off guard. The entire week I had been thinking, "How cool would it be to get engaged in Hawaii?"
Little did I know that we actually would!!!
I have no pics from the engagement since it was just us, but this is the same day, at a Luau that night.
How about continuing with the pre-wedding them with shots from your bridal shower. I was lucky and had two showers One was given by my aunt and the other by two of my bridesmaids.
My aunt did a 1950s theme complete with old fashioned dolls and food with recipes from that era. She made the doll's outfits to correspond with the different colors of my bridesmaids' dresses too.
My second shower was Disney princess themed and done by matron of honor and bridesmaid. The other two girls in my bridal party lived in different states at the time.
