POTD - Wedding!! Now With Directory on Page 1

OMG - I have *never* noticed that before! :rotfl2: I always thought he was just giving a normal smile cuz he's the officiant. Who knew he was giving DH's grandma bunny ears? :rotfl:

When I first looked at the pic I thought "the officiant is the only one who looks serious...I guess that's to be expected, though..." then I read Nikki's comment and cracked up. He's sneaky! :rotfl:

WOO HOO!! It's FRIDAY!!!!

Let's see your Happiest Moment of the Day!!!!
(and you MUST pick only ONE today...Happiest Moment!!!)

This was when I walked through the door and saw him standing with the biggest grin on his face..i was so excited, I don't even remember walking down the aisle

oooooh....good one!!

This was immediately after the ceremony, DH and I had walked down the aisle to the entrance to SBP and had a moment to ourselves as we waited for the rest of the bridal party to make their exit. Randy caught this private moment between us and I'm so happy he did. I looked at DH when we were finally out of earshot and whispered 'we're married' and we both just smiled and cried. This is that moment of elation: (I'm tearing up just seeing this pic! lol)

Thinking back on it, and looking at the pictures, I think this was my happiest moment. It was after the ceremony, cake cutting, toasts, pictures, and just after DH carried me over the threshold of our room. I finally got to rip off the tiara that was crushing my head and just sit. This was the first time in hours I sat because it was impossible to sit in my gown without wrinkling it all up. DH said I looked peaceful and beautiful and took a few pictures. I was totally at peace - married to the love of my life, done with the official stuff, no drama with my family, daddy walked me down the aisle, everyone I loved the most was there, I got through the day without crying about my mom, had a Disneymoon and cruise to look forward to, the rest of my life with the most wonderful man in the world to look forward to, and I was happy.

I can't wait for this moment! I mean I am excited about getting married and all but I really can't wait for this moment! :goodvibes

Sorry for infiltrating the already hitched boards :)

Another bittersweet moment. I was so happy to have loving parents and a husband who made my wish come true on that day but sad because I realized I was growing up. I had always pictured dancing with my father on my wedding day and now that it was happening it meant it was over. KWIM?

I TOTALLY know what you mean

Jenn, I LOVE that picture of you. You look gorgeous!

This was after we were finished with all of our pictures at SBP and right before we ate our cake. The whole day was so perfect and so surreal it's hard to find the best moment, but I remember thinking at this point about how it had really happened!

This is my 'happiest moment'. I just love how truly happy I am here!

I'm going to sorta cheat and post one from our two weddings.

There were too many wonderful things about our wedding in Jan with all our family and friends. But, I do remember being OVERWHELMED at how wonderful everything was right before I walked down the aisle. All my loved ones were there. I had just watched my best friends walk out in front of me, and I was listening to "Cinderella" music. I felt like I was living a fairy tale. This is a little earlier, but it's basically the same!

I have to apologize for the long post - I am way behind, so I'm trying to only pick a few favorites for some of the topics.

A kiss

Guests
I like this shot of my aunt with her family getting ready to get on the bus after the ceremony.

Here we are with all Kris' family; mine definitely outnumbered them, but Kris did have quite a few friends there.

We did group shots with all of the families for the thank you cards.

Happiest Moment
This might look that fantastic, but it was one of the moments where things really clicked. Right after the ceremony we were rushed to get pictures with our bridal party. This picture is right after they were whisked away to our reception and Kris and I were heading to take some pictures on our own. We finally had a few minutes to talk and just enjoy the moment on the walk from Japan to Italy.

My Happiest Moment:

DH and I were walking down the aisle, and at the end I jumped, clicked my heels, and yelled WAHOOOOOOOOOO! Finally after planning the wedding for seven months, the stress of the wedding was over. I was then finally able to enjoy the day stress-free, and as a MRS.!

Happiest moment....seeing Maxim's face the morning of with the sun rising overhead. He was so happy to be the Ring Boy, and was funny during the toast and the cake stating...."hey I'm part of this family."

So I am off to Disney for the week, and don't think I will be accessing any computers, so I will "see you all" upon my return.

80 degree weather, here I come.
