oh this game is pretty interesting but I am so bad at it that I dont think I will play the "pay" version, even though Sea and Out are there. Sigh.

I will be sorry to lose my character but I can never recall her name, in any event - LOL.

Where do I find an EITC Solder? [The task is Defeat assassin Claude D'Arcis who is disguised as an EIC officer.] It says they are in a cave in Tortuga. The only cave I can find is the Thieves Den but I don't think ' in there.

I will definitely not be ordering the Founders package. I've only scratched the surface of the game, but I don't really like it. Online games shouldn't follow a storyline.

Sure thats fine with me. For some reason I cant use the regular chat today. I used to be able to type what ever I wanted but today I can only use the stuff under the skull. Just pm me when your ready.

I just got my beta key (basic -ugh) today, so now Sea and I can play at the same time. That is good as the help of the higher level player that I worked on for Sea will really help my low level player to catch up to her.

Once the game goes public I am pretty sure that we can still play with people who are playing for free, so we can help you out also.

That is one location. The fort is in Thieves Den. It is easiest to get to it if you take the path from town that starts nearest the tavern and then go to the left when the trail splits. This will take you to a wooded area and it is pretty easy to get all the way to the Thieves Den without fighting anything. Once in the cave just stay on the right hand wall and you can also get to the fort without a fight. You will need it as there is not a lot of people who hang around near the fort and the assassin is a high level.

However there is an easier way , the EITC soldiers can also be found in Fort Charles on the patio type area behind the man in the stocks. Even though these EITC are just as tough, it is very common to find a large number of players in the fort ganging up on anyone in sight.

As Barbarosa explained the pirate code forbids using pistols on living humans (Navy and EITC). You can use a pistol on any animal, plant (flytrap or the nasty one in the graveyard), or undead in the game.

I seem to be having some trouble capturing some poeple for some tasks..

Is there another way to capture them or do I really have to defeat flag ships?
because I'm having the most trouble being able to sink them
