I seem to be having some trouble capturing some poeple for some tasks..

Is there another way to capture them or do I really have to defeat flag ships?
because I'm having the most trouble being able to sink them

yes you have to defeat the flag ships, remember that you don't just sink them you have to board them and defeat the soldiers on board. best way is to hire a crew or join one and request the flag ship to the captian. i will be on later tonight if you need help.

Where do I have to go to find wasps?

There are some in the forest areas behind Port Royal, but it is much easier to find them on Rumrunner or Driftwood Islands. If you go to these islands they are in the green parts of the island and are usually levels 7 - 12 (mostly 9).

I just started playing pirates about a week ago. I had a question about Tia's part of the quest .. I'm supposed to be getting plant leaves, but they all eat me! Is there somewhere with lower level plants? ( I'm level 8 )

about the lowest level flytrap you will find is a 9, best thing i can suggest is ask a friend to help or wait around until someone else is after the same stuff. best place for them is in cuba. find a member of the seafury guild and tell them tommy two times sent you and they should help.

Omg me to! lol I thought I was the only one or that the Mac version wasn't working. I was about to say oh great....the other one worked...and I already pre-ordered the first month lol. It seems to be working this morning though [currently downloading it]. Let me know if yours ends up working or not. Gl!

Anybody else having problems downloading the launcher for the test server? I can't get in tonight.

It took me about 2 hours including a blue screen of death and having to shut off the power 4 times when the computer hung, but I finally got it done. Of course this was only to find that they had moved me back to basic membership. Sure glad I preordered!

I finally got it to load last night - about 15 minutes (PC version). I was still unlimited and I had just pre ordered.

This game is so fun!

There will be a free play option once the game goes live, but it is extremely limited. If you play the game for free about 2 hours a week, you should be stopped at most of the "locks" by the end of the second month.

The pre-order founders membership costs $4.95 the first month and $9.95 a month after that. You can convert that to a 6 or annual membership and get a much better deal.

It wasn't just your Mac Bat, I have Windows Vista. I got a little panicked because it was right after I preordered my first month.
I haven't been on my computer all day. I'm off to see if it will load now.

the last 2 nights I haven't been able to get on, after it finally loads i get the message that it's down for maintenance, i was beginning to think it was my firewall. glad to hear i'm not the only one having problems, thanks for the heads up.

I played "Live" for a couple of hours this morning. As expected, I lost my characters and had to start from scratch - Level 1. I am trying to get Coriander back, we'll see.

Up to Level 3 now, will play some more tonight. I find the directions much more clear than they have been in the past. Good luck all!
