POTC during Fantasmic?

Just wondering if anyone has taken note of the lines for POTC around the time of the show? Mostly, can you even get to the entrance for that ride at this time or is it just too crowded? Are they able to keep the line inside the ride area? Does the bridge affect that too since I remember them making the bridge be one way only?

When I've been there the lines are pretty short during Fantasmic, though right after everyone immediately heads there. The cast members keep the pathways and entrance to POTC clear during the show, it's just a matter of getting through Adventureland to get to the entrance.

You can do it, we've done it. The line will be shorter then and then it gets packed after F! is over. The walkway is above the Pirates entrance so it has no impact, just walk thru Adventureland and down that way, or come from Frontierland.

Ok, thanks. That is good to know that it gets packed right after. That makes sense. I was just thinking that if we came from NOS we would have to go over the bridge and maybe down through Adventureland without being able to turn around. Sometimes you get directed somewhere and you just have to keep going right past where you want to go.

This past weekend we were able to walk right on just before and during Fantasmic! it was great The line filled up again right after though. That is the best time to go.

Oh good! That was my plan. I'm looking for rides at night that may be less crowded on an otherwise crowded day. I'm thinking HM would be about the same.

Yes, HM was also walk on and Splash Mtn was like a 5 min wait. BTMRR also walk on. This is the best time to hit these rides IMO.

I'm not even sure if we will see F! or fireworks. I would love to see them, but I really don't like crowds that big. It has been years since I've seen F! because I really don't feel like waiting for hours.

I use the Fantasmic time to do all those rides! The lines are really short!
Also if you want to watch some of the show, when you exit POTC you can watch the show from there away from the crowd. Have fun!

Do they let you stand there, or make you keep moving?

We love to do POTC and Indie during the fireworks and Fastasmic. We have walked on to POTC several times during the fireworks. Good luck!
