Postcard Exchange sent/received

i think my second set have arrived but for some reason they haven't been put in my mailbox in halls.....i saw the envelope behind the desk yesterday but it was being held for some bizarre reason.....so whoever sent me postcards by airmail thank you!! I will thank you more personally when I actually open them!

OK, I gave my postcards to my brother, so that he could take them to the PO. Since he works odd hours, he has time to go to the PO during the day.

The *censored by me* confessed yesterday that he forgot to do it, and will do it today. How is it possible??????????? :furious: Sorry people, next time, I'll do it myself... then at least you know it has been done right.

Brothers....

Some of these cars are taking a little long to arrive, but I guess one never knows what will happen with the mail. Some arrive in record time and others take longer than we would normally expect.

A couple of years ago, I was in Texas on my birthday. My mom posts her birthday card and my grandmother's birthday card on the same day, same mailbox. One of the cards arrives in Texas on my birthday, the other one arrives 3 weeks later.

The mail is sometimes weird...

Lyssa has recieved her first set of postcards, from Stacey. She thinks Chicago looks "cool" at night and she loved the one of Navy Pier.

Thanks NiteOwl71. :wave2:

Looks like some people are a bit slow in posting their acknowledgements:confused:

It only takes a minute to drop in and say thanks for what you have received.... pleased don't not post.:sad2:

I just got home and found I received some postcards from Disney UK. I love the one of the Tower Of London, interesting history. There ia also one from where she just spent their holiday, the island of La Gamera (part of the Canary Islands) that is absolutly beautiful. Thanks Disney UK!

Thankyou Susan(kirby) for the Brilliant postcards of Texas.
You're welcome! I thought that that little side note about the armadillos would make you smile. :)

Tell me about it. I mailed a Father's Day card to my dad on June 16th and it finally arrived on Monday, July 3. We only live three miles apart. :confused3

I'm glad they made it. I was afraid they might have been really delayed with the holiday.
