I'm glad your postcards arrived, I wish I could of found more scenes of Maryland. I was disappointed all I could find was from Baltimore except the one with Md Seafood.

thankyou to Tracie for the lovely postcards of historical Hampshire and southampton I recieved this morning:goodvibes

Thank you Dimplenose! Received cards in mail yesterday! Very nice cards indeed!

We are so sorry....we were going to post last night that our postcards went out, but unfortunately they did not. :guilty: But, they are out today!:thumbsup2 DH and I are so sorry that they went out late, but we hope they will get to all of people in a timely manner.:woohoo:

We can't wait to get ours!:goodvibes

Matt and my postcards went out. I am a total airhead and I addressed the envelopes and then tossed the pages that I printed out for which were mine and which were Matt's so..all of them went out from both of us.:guilty: Sorry!

Then the majority of ours have a bit of a ways to go ;) and I wanted to take them to the post office myself so DH would not know what shipping costs were LOL...so I am in line and the postal worker gave me my stamps and said $81.00!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: I said WHAT!!!!! OMG OMG and totally went into panic mode and she said "oh oh I am so sorry...$5.81" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: It was very funny!!

So...ours are on the way!!!:goodvibes

I received 2 packets today.

3 lovely cards from Spookysarah of Angus. Much sunnier pictures than my memories of Scotland! Thankyou for the cards and the interesting long descriptions they must have taken ages to write.

3 Cards of Hampshire from Parisdisneyfan. I used to work in Basingstoke but don't know the Southampton area at all. They were lovely views and have made me think I ought to explore the New Forest some time.

Now all I have to do is explain to my friends how I got postcards from total strangers!

Thanks Nutsy for organising this exchange.

That's too funny! :rotfl: Sounds like the kind of thing that happens to me.

I received 4 cards in an envelope from MD and the postage was 90 cents. To mail 3 cards in an envelope to the USA cost me £1.25 which is about $2.50. So almost 3 times as much for the same distance. That will be the tightfisted Scottish in me complaining!

Glad you liked them. Perhaps I should have sent a Greetings from Scotland with the four seasons on it. Spring - rain, summer - rain, autumn - rain and wind, winter - snow! :rotfl:

To be honest I hate our postal rates. It cost me $3.75 each package. I added a little extra to each, but whooo, the price! It should only have cost me $1.60/each.
I do love sending and receiving mail!

Thanks you Quasi123 for your postcards which arrived today. Looks a lovely place, I can beat you on distance to Disney though, you are at least in the same continent, country and state!!, After ds ribbing me about the dibb he was very interested in the cards!

I hear ya Sarah... it costs me $1.80 to send an envelope to the US, but it costs less to send from the US to here.

Yes, DW and I got ours out, now hopefully we put enough postage and the correct addresses on them, I have never done internation shipping before and the addresses look so strange (I am sure they say the same about us).

Anymore arrivals?
