Here are a few of our favorites. I haven't looked at these in a while, and it sure brings back wonderful memories. Sorry they are so big--I stink at picture resizing.
Wow - I can't believe it's already been almost 12 years since we got married!!! It doesn't seem like that long ago, and we sure did have a wonderful day!
DH loves this photo of us! I loved my gown back then, but I think I'd probably go for a little less poofiness today than 12 years ago! I was stylin' back then, though...also, those flowers were so heavy that my hand and wrist were really killing me after all those photos! Great memories of a beautiful day!
DH and I sort of eloped. The only people who knew we were getting married were my best friend, Kathy, and her husband, Frank, who were our witnesses. We got married on January 15, 2000, which had to be the coldest day of the year, at least that's what the county clerk said, who married us, LOL. We got married at the gazebo in the park in a neighboring town, and Kathy & Frank picked us up in their RV, which they had decorated inside with streamers and wedding decorations. It was really cute. Afterwards we had our mini reception in the RV complete with sandwiches we got from the local deli, and champagne on ice, compliments of Kathy & Frank. DH and I decided at the last minute to do it this way since it was a second wedding for both of us, and we just didn't want the hassle of planning a wedding at that time. We did have DH's parents, and my mom over for dinner the next day. Kathy lent us her wedding cake topper from twenty-something years ago to use as a table centerpiece, so that's how we broke the news to the parents, LOL. DH was so sweet to buy me my wedding bouquet as a surprise.
The photo is a bit small and the confetti is flying across my face.
I like the picture though as my mum and dad have one taken in the same place from their wedding day and so do my aunt and uncle.
This picture was taken 6 years ago tomorrow!
