Scottish/Canadian- WOW!! Your cake turned out absolutly fabulous!!! I can't wait. My wedding planner told me they could make my cake but- I'd have to get the cake toppers myself. I think the cake toppers add a lot to it so I'm gonna have to figure something out.

I see everyone's really cool cakes and realize that if I had to choose today, I'd have a REALLY hard time. I loved my cake for sure...knew since I first saw it in 2000 that it was the one I wanted, but ever since I started making crazy cakes myself, and seeing all the creative ones here...it would definitely be difficult to pick one! Perhaps a VR is in order...

We were really happy with how our mad hatter turned out. When it came down to it, my DW just told them to use different shades of blue. The light-up cubes are what really pushed it over the top for us.

Vanessa -- Your cake and the presentation are so beautiful and unique! Were the flowers on your cake real or sugar crystal? We are leaning toward the destination cake with our porcelain (lenox) cake topper, but I'd like sugar flowers instead of real flowers.

I love looking at all of these cakes. We are not getting married at Disney World, but we are taking our Disneymoon here. My fiance and I are planning a Disney-themed wedding, so all of these cake pics are a great inspiration to our wedding!

The only downside to this thread is that it is making me want something sweet!!!

I went with the small Mickey Wave in Silver.
We have Chocolate cake with Baileys mousse on the bottom.
Yellow Cake with Amaretto mousse in the middle.
And Chocolate cake with white chocoloate mousse for the top!

I figured if I have to eat frozen cake, it better be completely chocolate!!!

The bakery made ours and they were just done out of icing, so I don't see why the cake makers there could make them too. Weird. Maybe you can make them yourself out of something? I'm crafty in my head, but not through my fingers, so I really have no idea what I'm talking about! I'm the visionary and my sister is the creator...works well.

I always wanted a Mad Hatter and Craig loved the other cakes, so we combined our ideas together. It evolved a little too through the planning process. I wish it had been a little sparklier and no so "flat" but I was still thrilled with it!!

I love this!! I really liked the silver stars and they were our topper until we saw the Mickey's. Wish I'd though of glow cubes. I suggested the light up stars that were in our flowers but eventually enough was enough! The colours are fantastic and the marbling on the bottom tier is so cool!

I love how a lot of us have the same cake but we've personalized them to us and they've all come out so different and so fantastic!

This is just a different version of the Mad Hatter cake. Disney will gladly personalize it for you, which is what they did for ours. Didn't cost us anything extra. This version has an extra tier, but I'm sure they could definitely do it in three tiers!

Thanks for the advice , would you mind telling me roughly how much yours cost if it was pretty similar to the one alissa2008 is having??

Im not sure my df would nt like going with such a theme but i personally think its great . I like things that are really unusual and & stand out, id def have to have butterflies going up our cake like in the pic as im Butterfly mad

Theres a really lovely cake shop near us that does the yummiest cakes , they ve always got wedding cakes in there window . Compared to the cakes on this thread theres look so normal & boring though & there cakes are pretty impressive. I love that everyone uses so much imagination when planning there cake

We had an escape wedding, so this was an upgrade in the design and the extra layer to a Mickey's Delight with silver mickeys. It was TASTY!!
