I went to Ohana's this past sunday night (9-11), the menu was as follows:
Pineapple/ coconut bread ( I think my son at 4 loaves himself)
Chicken wings
Shrimp/ veggie wontons
Cheesy potatoes(scalloped)
Stir fry veggies
Salad
On Skewers:
Pork Loin
Shrimp
Steak
Turkey
Dessert:
Pineapple bread pudding w/ ice cream and banana syrup (very yummy)
All the food was yumo with the exception of the b-day cake we rec'd (it was the 12.95 one) it was stale and dry.
The service was terrible at our table but elsewhere was wonderful!
Have a great day!!

I can't wait to try one of those! Last year we had a PS for Kona on our arrival day. Two of the kids were getting tired and cranky so I had my meal packed up and took them back to the room. The meal was great but I missed dessert. This year I'm taking DD(6) with me 2 nights early and I am determined to have dessert at Kona!! In about 30 days....

It was a fun, if quick, trip! My friend was very surprised by the shirts! I gave her each one (there were 2 for her) the night before I wanted her to wear them when we were getting our stuff ready for the next day. We got lots of comments on them, and 2 CMs even took down the info to get on the DIS and even the info on how to find the thread about the shirts!!

The vegetarian dishes were all mine. Anything containing meat was my friend's, but I did take notes, so if there are any questions about those items, I can look it up!

Debbie, thank you thank you thank you for all the great pictures of the vegetarian items. It's rare to see so many pics of veggie main courses. I can't wait to try some of those dishes. In particular, Boma and WCC looked really good.

Debbie,
I'm glad your shirts were such a hit. Make sure you let the DDA thread know about it!!!!!

I wish we were going to Boma this trip. We went last trip & my husband didn't care for it..... :confused3 . I loved it!!!! I'll get him back there some day.

Only 16 days to wait until I get to do some Disney Dining.
I'll try to get some good food pics...my husband thinks I am crazy, but I want to add to the food porn thread :rotfl: that I have enjoyed looking at so much.

OMG ... this thread has been TORTURE!

I live about an hour away from Disney, and though I've been countless times to the park, I've never dined anywhere but Rainforest Cafe. Heck, and even that's been less than five times. *I did go for my 21st birthday, it was great and my three month old was in LOVE with the animals.*

Anyways, I wanted to thank all of you all for your wonderful pictures. We're planning on going on a few more trips this year *hopefully a MNSHHP and hopefully watching the Candlelight Processional for the first time (I've been lucky enough to sing in it a number of times).*

But, I digress, because of your wonderful pictures, I have decided to throw my sister a Disney Blow Out weekend for her eight birthday. Since we've never dined, it's going to be great on everyone's aspect. For her birthday morning, we're *hoping* to dine with the Princesses over in Norway and then that evening, the WCC is calling my name. I don't know how I am going to do it, but I'm going to make sure the bugger requests ketchup. That weekend, I'm hoping to also get AR's at 50's Prime Time, Jordyn won't know what hit her. I've never actually planned a trip to Disney, just up and went, so this is really fun. And even though we're going to go 2-3 times before this trip, I'm already excited about Jan.

Hopefully I'll remember to take pictures!

Thanks again guys
Amanda

I had to take a picture of this food, it was a work of art. This is the chocolate hazelnut torte at Tony's Town Square. Notice the Hidden Mickey.

You know, I don't know. It wasn't light and flaky really though. It seemed more like a spring roll wrapper. The mix inside was like of like a dry peanut butter in texture.

And the salad was awesome, a nice light lunch!

Chocolate covered strawberries? YUmmm!!! Did ya know that the healthiness of the strawberries cancel out the calories of the chocolate? (if you could see how big I am you would not want to take diet advice from me however I am happily enjoying living in my own little world of denial)

Slightly Goofy

I love chocolate covered strawberries and i guess as they're fruit...they can't be bad for me!!! :Pinkbounc

Does anyone remember seeing a cake with gold mickeys stamped on the sides? I've been doing searches but cant find it!
