Let me first say...my back is killing me...I read this whole thread in one day. I have to mention that I noticed it a few days ago and thought to myself "that's just stupid, who takes pictures of their food....I know what a hamburger looks like." (secretly, I once took a pic of a portobello burger at rainforest b/c I was thinking mushroom sauce and was surpised when I was served a sandwich that had a giant shroom instead of a patty). However, I'm a changed person. I vow to be a food nazi on my Dec. trip. Thank goodness my digital takes hard floppies!
Let me also say that I've truely enjoyed the commentary AS WELL as the pics.
Mr. Disney and VasCubaGuy....THANKS! Though most ppl post where the food comes from, few actually give a review. I'm one of those ppl that have bought things in the past that are pretty, but taste like nothing (sort of like martha stewart cookie recipes). I wish more ppl would recommend pastries..I have a hard time making up my mind and the CMs are too flustered to give my advice when I ask.
Ok..so I know this is a PIC thread but I'm dying for some advice. My family is on a budget (which means mostly counter service and a character breakfast buffet). We usually squeeze in a lunch at whispering canyon (all you can eat) and I'm sure most of you can see why! However, this trip is special. Not only is it the first trip we'll be staying at a WDW hotel (ASM), but it's been over three years since our last trip! I was thinking I would "upgrade" our whispering canyon lunch to a dinner at either Boma's or Ohana's. We've been to neither but we're a pretty adventurous family, taste wise. Has anyone been to both that can tell me which they recommend over the other????? THANKS DISers!
