So here's the stupid question of the day....Cinderella's Gala Feast is at 1900 Park Fare? Is that what I'm gathering from the responses?

yes, that's right!

I have two pics to share: the first is the Cinderella Slipper dessert we special ordered from the GF bakery to be delivered during the Cinderella character dinner at 1900 Park Fare. The second is from Teppanyaki.

I just read on another thread that the Cinderella Slipper dessert has been discontinued at the CRT because (basically) it was too much work and too many people were ordering it. BOOHOOHOO!!! It was one of the reasons I made my ADR there for our Christmas trip. I guess I could special order one to be delivered...

Has anyone been recently other than the one post on the other thread, or anyone who is going soon...can someone confirm this? Or do ya'll know how I can find out! I know, I sound like a big baby, but man! I was really looking forward to the fru fru princess dessert....

Thanks ya'll!

They may have cancelled it for many reason but I doubt "too much work" is it,
but it might be the easy answer to tell the public. I make molded candy and it is a heck of a lot easier then actually baking something. In one day I alone could turn out a couple of hundred of them.

went to CRT dinner on 9/30 and yes, the slipper is gone from the menu.

And the slipper that was on the menu on Tuesday looked nothing like that slipper. It was really small and filled with dark chocolate mousse, not white chocolate mousse and no raspberries. And came on a slice of angel food cake. No little "boat" of chocolate mousse. And I think I'm spelling mousse wrong...... :guilty:

The one that Beck's Mom posted is the one that still has to be special ordered and was never on the dinner menu at CRT. I am downloading my pictures now. I'll finally be able to post a picture of one of my wonderful meals. :cheer2: :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Thanks! Can someone please post for me how to go about special ordering the slipper at CRT? Or is that not possible? I am sorta confused with the hubbub about this frufru princess treat. I would appreciate it. If it turns out that I can't get it I will live...just have to resort to the super chocolate cake or more likely the sorbet...loved it the last time I ate at CRT.

Thanks again!

yes, that was for lunch. And yes, you can use the CS credit on DDP. I got the 2 entrees 2 sides (the rice is a side), the chocolate cake, and a medium drink for 1 credit.

DH got the grinder (entree), soup (side), cookie (dessert), and medium drink for 1 CS credit.

Oogieboogie,

You got a picture of our favorite candy - Mickey nut clusters. The best ones have macadamia nuts with milk chocolate. Every trip to WDW my daughter and I always return home with at least a dozen. We will be buying more in December. Thanks for the pic!

Ok, question! Everyone keeps saying entree and SIDE, dessert and drink. Do we get a side item with the Dining Plan???

Yes, or at a CS you can get a combo meal which already includes an entree and a side.

It depends on the place MM2669. On the DDP, you are allowed 1 entree, 1 side, and 1 drink for CS credit, 1 appetizer, 1 entree, 1 dessert, 1 drink on the TS credit.

If the meal is a combo and already has the sides, you can't get another side. Take for example Flame Tree BBQ - The ribs meal already came with baked beans and corn on the cob so the beans and corn is considered a side. But at the Noodle Station, the noodle bowl is an entree, pot stickers/eggroll/rice is a side, and creme brulee or chocolate cake is the dessert, then you get a drink.
