This was the first character dining experience for me. The food was ok, but a bit dissapointing considering the cost ($21.95 per person). You'll see from the limited food menu that was served.

This was the best part of the breakfast meal:

Cinnamon Rolls - YUMMMMMMY!!! We actually ordered a 2nd batch

Small Fruit Bowl

Breakfast Skillet (eggs, sausage, bacon, mini-biscuits, potatoes)

***they would bring more if you asked. The potatoes were pretty good. I don't think I would do this again. Luckily we were using some "extra" dining meals from my brother and sister-in-law who left a day early.

Overally pretty good. And our server even gave us the Fantasmic voucher for priority seating. :teeth:

Ok, I think that's all of them. Did I mention I gained about 5 lbs? There was soo much food for us on the dining plan and to make matters worse, my brother and sister-in-law left a day early so we got to use several of their credits (we actually had 1 table service left at the end).

If you have any questions about the food at any of the places where we ate or in regards to the dining plan, just let me know.

*wipes drool from the keyboard* Thanks for such great pictures vascubaguy.
That was the best torture ever!

How very yummy! I can't wait to go. Good thing I lost some weight before the trip because I'm going to gain it right back! :mickeybar

Oh, wow! This made my afternoon. Everything looks soooo yummy, especially the desserts. I have to ask, though, what exactly is the Happiest Celebration on Earth Dessert" at the Brown Derby? On my computer screen it looks like a roll of meat, but that can't be right. Also, what exactly is Creme Brulee? It looks yummy, but I can't figure out what it is. Thanks!

Creme Brulee is one of those desserts that when you put it in your mouth you just kind of go mmmmmmmmmmm. Actually it's a very smooth creamy custard with a caramelized crunchy top (very thin). You can get lots of different "flavors" of creme brulee. The classic is vanilla but you can have chocolate, butterscotch, pistachio, lemon, just about anything you can think of.

The Happiest Celebration dessert at Brown Derby is like a chocolate mousse with a chocolate waffer in the middle. The "flames" coming from it is a hard candy and then the chocolate medallion with the castle on it.

Oh boy! I'm definitely going to try one of these. I'll have to make a list of all the food I want to try - but I only have three days to do it in!

Well, I certainly got that one wrong! Remember to always ask what it is before you try guessing. :rotfl2:

Oh my goodness!!! She's absolutely adorable. Congrats!!! My little one (below) who's getting bigger now (she's 1) just pointed at your little one's picture on the screen and gave a big smile :goodvibes

Oh
My
Gosh!

Thank you for the newest pictures. I wonder if I can just eat the entire time I'm in WDW. The rides aren't really any fun, are they???

OK....here are some pictures of "afternoon snacks" we had delivered to our room from the Conciege Staff at the GF.
First Day was....
Tuxedo'd Strawberries and SOLID White Chocolate Mickey
The strawberries were just ripe and juicey and we began cannibalizing the "mouse" immediately...starting with the ears... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

On the Second day of Disney.....
A trio of liquor cream truffles
The toffee and dark chocolate truffles were a bit on the strong side, but the milk and white choclate ones were perfect!

On the third day of Disney...

A Pair of Dogbone Eclairs....

Honestly? We didn't much care for this. The cream filling was not a good as what we've had locally here in CT.

On the fourth day of Disney....

A Chocolate Cream Cake.

It was a nice light cake, but paled in comparison to the other "snacks" we ate our way through.

Thanks for the pics Mr Disney!....wish I was staying concierge at the GF (sigh). :earsgirl:

On the fourth NIGHT of Disney....

We were delivered a BOX of chocolate "cigars"!
