Universal Studios Stuff (Is it legal to post this on the Disney Food Porn Thread??). These photos really make the food look marvelous, but the meat was really greasy and had no seasoning or sauce. ICK!!! The pie would have been great with vanilla ice cream, but was awfully sweet on its own. This was our least favorite meal of the whole trip

Grand Floridian Tea:

I was there with 2 adult friends and we all had the Buckingham Palace Tea. We each got a pot of tea and cozy:

We started with tea sandwiches and onion tart:

Then we had a scone and raspberry tart:

We had a choice of strawberries and cream, trifle or 2 pastries each. We all chose pastries.

was something wrong with it or just it sounded better than it was...i loved the choc bread pudding with tarragon ice cream they used to have..

i read what you had to say about the enchanted oak at ioa.

that is rare it turned out not good for you. i have never had greasy food at that place.
you should have taken it back as universal will refund your money totally and replace it with something else.

i have never been shy at universal for them to make good on food i purchased.

My son with a Beaver Tail. (It looked much better than it tasted)I'm sorry it's so large. I haven't figured out how to make the pictures smaller.

was this recent as i thought they no longer sold these( missing my chance last time i thought or maybe not if it wasn't that great)

if your pics are on photobucket you can go to "edit" above the picture and it will take you to a place you can resize it...if not sometimes the same place you type in the name to "save as" it has a place to change the type of file and a place to resize it or if you have a photo program( like i have hp image zone) it has a resize option under the edit section

Nothing wrong whatsoever - just not what I was hoping for. I was expecting strawberries in a balsamic flavored ice cream with maybe a vanilla cookie...my first bite was not ice cream, but a thick vanilla whipped cream/custard that was a little too heavy for my taste. The ice cream was vanilla and was drizzled with balsamic and the Creme Anglaise seemed unnecesary. I was hoping for something really light and fresh tasting and this was heavier and creamy...like the "butter" when you overwhip cream...??

DH absolutely loved his sorbet - thought it was just the right touch. I had wanted to bring a chocolate Moose back for DS (who was at the Sandcastle Club) but I wasn't sure it would make it.

That is really good to know!! We had saved the 20% with the AP discount and everything other than the meat was good, but for some reason it just didn't taste good that day. It was about 95 degrees out and it may have been too heavy for what we should have eaten

The atmosphere was a kick though! I took a photo of the outside of the tree and didn't realize there was a face there until we got back and downloaded the pictures.
