I'm working on some research... and I don't think you are supposed to taste the Coca-Cola in the ribs. I think its only used to tenderize it.

Did you know if you put a T-Bone steak in Coca-Cola it will be dissolved (the steak) in like 2 days? And that they use Coca-Cola to clean the delivery trucks' engines?

That's pretty interesting and I believe it! Glad I gave up drinking soda a long time ago! I used to drink coke all the time and hated the taste of water, now I can't stand drinking soda and love water!

I've asked this before but got a different answer from everybody - do zebra domes taste like coffee?

Some say coffee, some say peanut butter, some say chocolate... I know I could just wait and see, but curiousity has the better of me!

Now I didn't know they were coffee before we went to Boma last september and so I was really looking forward to them. YES they do taste of coffee and I do not like coffee at all so was bitterly disappointed!!!

The rest of the fantastic food helped me get over it though!!

If you've ever had tiramisu, that's what the zebra domes are. I love them...and my mom who wouldn't eat tiramisu ate them (she didn't know it was tiramisu) and she loved them too. If I could go to Boma only for the desserts, I'd be there again. LOL

Banana Split @ Beaches & Cream - YUMMMMO!!

That banana split is huge!!! How many scoops of ice cream did they use? I can't wait to try Beaches & Cream! Only seven more days to wait

That banana split looks EXACTLY like the one they used to serve at Dixie Landings (now PO) in the food court. It was huge!!

As Snopes.com states, these are two of many claims about Coke which, although funny, are urban legends.

I don't think they are. It's part of my research. I would test it myself, but TBones cost too much.

I don't have a picture of the Strawberry Shortcake with icecream & whipped cream from Beaches n Cream, but it's big & not too expensive $5<

I actually tried this with a small piece of uncooked beef. It didn't work. Coca Cola also is not terribly efficient at cleaning pennies, as so many people claim.

Mythbusters did this - didn't work. Your science journals are wrong.

Cola blood stain remover: BUSTED. It does not remove enough blood to be effective.

Chrome Cleaning Cola: CONFIRMED. Cola can be used to clean chrome.

Rusty bolts: BUSTED. Cola does nothing to a rusted screw.

Penny Cleaner: CONFIRMED. After 24 hours the only dirty parts on the penny were thouse exposed to an air pocket.

Tooth dissolve: BUSTED. Phosphoric acid dissolves teeth better than cola.

Steak dissolve: BUSTED. The meat was tenderized but not dissolved.

Battery Terminal: BUSTED. No difference between using baking soda and cola.

Degreaser: BUSTED. cola will not remove grease from clothes or engines.

Spermicide: BUSTED. Cola will not kill sperm.

I'm not going to continue to argue my point. There is evidence that goes both ways the same with everything else like:

The effects of pot on the body/brain
The effects of parenting
The effects of violence in media
ETC ETC ETC

The evidence I have (though not infront of me) states what I claim above. And again.. I believe my science journals are more credible than Mythbusters. These people don't spend 15 years in school to get their doctorate and then spend their lifetime doing these experiments. When the guys who work Mythbusters or Snopes teach any of the Ivy Leagues or the two main ITs (CIT and MIT) then I will believe what they say.

My whole point was that she shouldn't be able to taste the Coca-Cola because it is used as a tenderizor. And i just added some information from my current research into the mix.
