Post your Degrees /Certificates /Trade /Skill/Job-what would u be?

I have a BS in Natural Sciences with a Business minor and an MD. I did a pediatrics residency and a neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship and am a practicing neonatologist. "Earning my ears" here and as a mom with a 2 year-old son and a baby on the way! :wave2:

I earned a BS in Public Relations (or a BS in BS as I sometimes like to say) and minored in Business Administration. I am sure you can guess which university I attended.
Currently I am working on my Accredited Airport Executive designation.
I am also looking into pursuing an MBA.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Education with piano as my pricipal instrument. I've taught private piano lessons for the last 15 years while my main job was SAHM and homeschooler. At the same time, hubby (who has his Bachelor's in Music Business) was in ministry as a pastor of music and drama, and now we are in the process of becoming missionaries - we'll be worship trainers, primarily in Ireland, but working all over Europe.

I have a certificate in legal secretary/word processing that I used for about a year.

I now have a BA in English, and I'm a semester away from my masters in secondary education.

I'm not done. By January, I'm either going to start teaching for a few years, then go back for my PhD in education, or I'm going to get a second masters in reading. :thumbsup2

I have a BA in English and work in University development.

DH has a BA in History, as well as a JD and a LLM, and is an international tax attorney.

What I wish I had a "degree" in is practical home repair! Neither of us can change a tire or fix the toilet. It's pretty pathetic, actually.

I have a BA in psychology and a BS in biology.

I thought I wanted to go to medical school. I changed my mind and went to law school and got a JD. I'm licensed in MA, but not NH because the test is really hard and has a lot of tax crap on it. I didn't take tax. I don't know anything about taxes beyond Turbo Tax, so, chances are, I will never pass the test. I could waive in, but I have had periods where I didn't practice and I tend to take months off at a time and it could take 100 years for me to get in the requisite time to waive into NH.

I hate being a lawyer. However, because I'm a lawyer, I was able to become a licensed real estate broker in MA without taking a class or a test. I'm also a licensed agent in NH - I can't waive into NH since I didn't take a test. Someday, I hope to do that full time. Right now, I like the steady paycheck and I'm just not concentrated enough to make a career change right now. So, I continue to be a lawyer.....and continue to hate it. :)

I have a BA in English (with a Minor in Mass Communication), and M.Ed in Instructional Technology (with school media certification).

I've let my GA certification expire because I don't really have any interest in going back to a public school library (I teach English in a private school now).

I have a BA in Psychology
I'm certified with the American Council of Exercise (ACE) in
Group Exercise
Personal Training
Clinical Exercise Specialist
and one week from tomorrow I'll be certified in Studio Cycling. It really is interesting to see where everyone's education lies and what they do. Keep it coming.

I have a B.S. in Marketing with a minor in Human Resource Management from Oklahoma State.

DH has a B.A. in Speech Communications from OSU.

Interesting thread!

I have a BBA in Management and a Masters in Management Information Systems - I'm a programmer for a government agency.

DH has a BS in Criminal Justice, and he's an insurance claims supervisor.

I'm an official court reporter here in GA and also part owner of a freelance firm, too, for depositions and the like

I have a BS in secondary education/majoring in Language Arts. Guess what? I'm a :teacher:
I'm not sure I would have hired me to teach someone else's children :lmao: Seriously, I love kids and consider it an honor to mold them in my own image. I mean, teach them to be productive future Disboard posters :teeth:
