DH has a BA in History, as well as a JD and a LLM, and is an international tax attorney.

What I wish I had a "degree" in is practical home repair! Neither of us can change a tire or fix the toilet. It's pretty pathetic, actually.

last part made me laugh, i am right there with you on that one

ok, these are all really great, but is there anyone out here who knows how to fix a fridge, i think mine is on the blink, i can trade you some educational advocacy advice and if you live in IL legal consult (like 2 questions)-lol but really fridge-anyone?

I have:

BS in Communication Disorders
MS in Communication Disorders

I am just beginning my CFY (clinical fellowship year), which lasts 9 months...then I will have my certificate of clinical competence (CCC) and can FINALLY write CCC-SLP after my name.

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist.

don't you just love all the letters behind your name, it's an ego thing, but i was laughing at work today,

i went out to help some of the ladies in the finance area, and i got the jist of it, but some of the stuff they were doing was hard, i just could not get it,

they said they could not do what i do, and i could not do their job, we were cracking up i was asking them questions like every 15 minutes, apologizing every time, it was a hoot.

I only have one semester behind me, but I am working on a BS in psychology, then Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, then a PhD all from Liberty University.

DS has been a licensed Practical Nurse for 12 years, has had enough experience so that he can now classify himself as a Mental Health Professional (not sure of the initials but he can use a few if he chooses). He is two classes short of a BS in respiratory therapy, three short of a BS in Healthcare Administration, but will FINALLY graduate with a BS in Religion in the Spring.

LOL!! This is too true! I was having some business cards made and my friend asked why I didn't have all my "letters" behind my name. I said you have GOT to be kidding!! It would look something like this: Lisa ____, D.D., D. Met., O.M., A.T.P., P.S.T. blah, ,blah, blah.....LOL!!! I'm probably forgetting something and, most important, people don't generally don't know what half the stuff means anyway. Like a lot of people, I've kept studying to satisfy my own curiosity. The degrees and certs. have come with the terrritory, so I'm happy to keep it simple!! :sunny:

Ahhh, practicality! Something I'm seriously short on! You're hired!!!! :thumbsup2
