I am just about to start my Disney Cruise vacation scrapbook and looking for some ideas. I would be so interested in seeing cruise layouts.
Please post here.
Thanks...

I wanna see, I wanna see. I haven't been on a cruise yet, but I am dying to see your layouts so I will know which photos I definitely want to take. Be forewarned, if yours is a great layout, I will probably scraplift it!

you can also look on twopeasinabucket.com and search cruise in the disney section. Also, post on the DIS scrapbook board

Hi,
I did a scrapbook for our first cruise and have taken several more since then. I didn't want to do the same thing over so I'm going to a do a cruise alphabet scrapbook for our most previous one(Nov 25-Dec 2). I haven't decided if I want to concentrate on only one picture on a page ie " A is for Animator's Palate" or just do a two page spread on most of the letters. I scrap in 12 x 12 so I don't think a two page spread will be too cluttered. I plan on combining the photos from different years for this one. I saw the idea in a wedding idea book and thought it'd be cute. I do have a title, M is for Magic: A Disney Cruiseline alphabet. I'll try to see if photos of my first scrapbook will come out. I think there will be too many to post but I can certainly let you know if they do come out and e-mail them to you if you let me know you're interested. :surfweb:

I am just working on our scrapbook for our April cruise, doing it the old fashion way. But I did our August cruise via Shutterfly.com (it was fun, fast and easy and it turned out great!) If you don't have time to scrapbook the old fashion way I suggest trying Shutterfly.com or some type of digital scrapbook.

There is a Dis'r (Cass) who is an amazing digital scrapper. Here is a link to her website. I believe she just had a baby, so she may be kind of busy, so i thought I'd provide a link to her webpage. Get ready to be blown away by her talent!

I have a few pages in my link below (in my sig area). There from our first cruise in 2004. I'm currently working on our cruise from last year....my goal is to have them done before our next cruise next year :goodvibes . Anyhow...go ahead and take a peek and what pages I have..... I ended up with 4 albums (12x12 CM...with refills) just for that one cruise :confused3 ....I didn't end up posting ALL of the pages...but it's a good amount. :Pinkbounc

Jill,
I really enjoyed your layouts. You have done a wonderful job. I am truly inspired. I hope mine turn out half as good. If they do, I will be happy.

Thanks!

I am a BIG fan of scrapperjill's work - just beautiful! She taught me how to journal on vellum, very cool!

and 'Timon' aka Cass is fantastic.....her 2005 cruise she did digitally I beleive and it is amazing - check out the link above to her web page.

I looked at Cass's site. AMAZING! I haven't got the faintest clue about digital scrapping. I would love to learn. The results are fantastic. Her dog's ABC book brought tears to my eyes.

Thanks for sharing!

Both Cass and Scrapperjill are AWESOME!!! Looking at their memories makes me want to leave tomorrow!!! Thanks so much for sharing. :cheer2:

I was also amazed by the digital scrapbooking Cass did when she first posted it. It got me inspired to try it. I NEVER finished my paper scrap pages and I am now totally OBSESSED with digital scrapping. I find it so much easier and I just finished scrapping books and calendars for all my relatives for the holidays. I can't wait to go on our cruise in Feb and get to scrap it. I really owe Cass a thank you for her inspiration. If you haven't tried digital scrapping, it is worth a look- I LOVE it!!

Oh what great news!! I just visited her site and it said they were hoping to start a family in 2006. Her work is AWESOME, you are soooo right--digital scrapbooks, photos, videos--everything. Totally awesome.

Check the link at the bottom of her page - she had a baby last month!

Mine are posted on Twopeas also under "debbiedoodles" or on the Dis scrapbook forum in the gallery at the top of the page.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. And thanks Nik's Mom for posting the link. You are so right, with my new baby I am SO busy and haven't been on the computer much.

I agree, scrapperjill is VERY talented, as is pppiglet!

I am glad I could inspire some of you, digital sbing is awesome and I really enjoy it.

When I get into a more regular schedule, I will be back sbing cus I have hundreds of photos since Kira was born :) I plan on doing most of my future SBing all digitally since it's easier and quicker for me and then printing them out in photobooks.

As for musical slideshows, I do them for all my trips but don't post them since I already post my photos and videos but you can see an example in my videos page with the "my boys" video, which is a slideshow to music. I use Roxio Easy Media Creator for those but there are tons of different programs that you could use.

By the way GrayFal, great new siggie photos!! ;) :thumbsup2

All of your layouts are beautifyl!
I have been toying eith digital sbooking for a while. I think I am ready now because I am almost a full two years behind in my albums. SOmetimes it is just hard to keep up with the photos, LOL.
Can anyone recommend a good program, and give me a general idea of how it works?
Thanks!
