I'm always hearing about how amazing Crocs are, but what makes them so great? Are they really comfortable?

YES!! Very comfortable!! I have the Niles. Hands down the ugliest pair of shoes I've ever owned but my feet are in heaven so I really don't care - LOL

Just a reply about the cheap payless 'crocs'....I don't own a pair myself, but my sister bought a pair for $10 and has them on everyday and works in them. She can't say enough about them.

I just ordered a pair of Niles in red for my trip on 2/11. I liked this style because they looked much cuter than the beach style. Are they just as comfortable? Have you gotten any compliments on them? I know some people have said they are ugly, but I think they're cute in a funky way.

I have the Niles in black. These are the only pair I own - so far - so I cannot compare but I think they are fantastic. My foot is very wide and very flat - at the end of the day - even just a regular old day - my feet ache. Or should I say - used to ache... lol!

As for compliments - LMAO Ummm - no. They look much cuter online than they are in person IMO but I honestly do not care one bit. As soon as we get back from our trip I plan on ordering the Beach model in pink

YES! I have at least 3 or 4 pairs of half flip-flops! I am really trying to keep my crocs from them, but I know the day will come when they get them! I love them anyway.....they are such loves!

I wear mine all the time and would like to get my kids a pair but they are hard to find here for kids.

They definetly have them in tiny sizes! I was at Nordstroms today and looked at them for my boys (not sure if they would wear them though) and they had the cutest (these actually were cute!LOL) pair for a very small child. If I had to guess, I would say they would definetly fit a 2 year old (might even be too small). Just do a search on-line or try www.nordstrom.com

Ok after reading and posting on this thread about the cheaper payless ones my sis had, I decided to find out for myself. I live right by a Payless so I went and bought two pair. I wore them to the mall and tried on the Croc brand. Ok my honest opinion...except for the emblem and the Airwalks from Payless has little triangles instead of circle holes...there was no difference. They r extremely comfy and felt almost identical to the Croc brand. So my sis was right...who knew u could get that comfort for only $12. Now I tried on a $10 pair at another store in our mall called Komoto ...they were terrible. They did not have that spongy feel like the Airwalks and Crocs. To the touch, they felt like hard plastic. So be warned not all the imitators are worthy imitations. Hope this helped.

I'm sure they will like them very much! My Labs love to eat any kind of soft plastic things (including one of DS's Little People last night ). I keep all of my shoes behind closed doors if I don't want them to be eaten! Glad I'm not the only one with omnivorous dogs!

Anyone know of any "name brand" stores that may have the Nile ones in stock? I tried Dicks and Dillards but all they have is the clog style...I would like to see the Nile ones . those look more "normal" on the website.

Thanks, but the smalest size I see coming up at Nordstrom is a 1. On the crocs website I've seen 8-9. My 4 y/o is wearing a 7 1/2 now so by spring/summer she should be ok in the 8-9, but the 2 y/o only wears a toddler 4. Off topic now I love the picture of your 3 boys. If they're anything like my 3 girls that picture isn't so much a pose as it is a regular "everybody pile on the oldest" kind of thing right?

FYI...Payless has children's sizes in the Airwalk version. We just jumped on the croc bandwagon but don't have anywhere w/in 50 miles that sells the real thing, so went to our local payless and found enough to satisfy us! My DD who is 6 wears a size 11 shoe and they had lots of colors available for her...plus I saw smaller than her size shoe as well, so I think you would find an 8-9 easily there.

Has anyone tried the ones at Target? I saw that they had them but I wasn't sure that I could get over the ugliness. They are starting to grow on me though.
