Ugh! 3rd day of school. Not too happy. I just happened to wake up early, so I thought I'd post waste a bit. Which I'm gonna try to do more of cuz I havent in the past. My mom is probably about to come in here and wake me up singing "School days, school days, good ol' golden rule days..." like she always does. Like she HAS to remind me!!

Braces hurt sooooooo much sometimes.
But I can't wait to have straight teeth, so it'll be all worth it to me.

I got rubber bands for the second time and it's terrible. I have to relearn how to eat with them wah. Yeah of course I want straight teeth, but sometimes...my long-term thinking gets away from me haha!

Hi Erin!! I'm Abbi...or Abigail..or Queenie. Whatever you prefer. My other days of SCHOOl were just like every other day of SCHOOL...bOOOOring. But...it's getting better. I'm in the 8th grade (one of the younger TBers) so I don't get all the cool electives to chose from. I'm on Yearbook committee, Choir, and Career Connections (second semester). Hows your year?? Or have you started yet??

I probably will be told I don't need rubber bands next time I go to the orthodontist, but I'll need them again later in a different spot anyway...

Hi! I'm starting junior year in high school, so I'm about 3 years older I was on yearbook in eighth grade too! But we didn't get to choose any electives...the stuff I did (student council, band, yearbook) was just extracurricular.

I haven't started..I have about two weeks. I have a tough year lined up, and this year is important for college applications, so I'm pretty nervous. But I'm excited about my electives (Genetics & Ethics, and Psychology) and I'll officially be an upperclassman! I can also go to the Junior Prom this year, so that's cool I suppose!

Funny Story.

I applied to be in Yearbook (first Choice), Art 2 (second), and Career Connections (third). Then came Student Aid, Spanish 1, and Video Tech...in that order. We were supposed to rank our top 6 out of 8. I get my schedule and guess what I get? P.E. and Choir. Both of which were the only 2 I DIDN'T rank! Now...keep in mind that I did transfer schools this year, so I understand if there was a little mix-up, but when I TRY to NICELY get them changed with the counselor and basically get told "TOO BAD!", I have the right to get a bit angry. Anyways...all in all, I was able to get Phys. Ed. changed to Yearbook. Thank goodness!! But...I'm stuck with Choir. Mixed choir. Now...I LOVE to sing. BUT... I knew how the people in my choir would be this year, and I didnt wanna have to deal with them. Of course, though...I have a whole class full of troublemakers. At one point yesterday, all the kids stod on the top row of the risors leaned over it and pushed while counting to 3. On 3 they flipped the risor! Thank god I wasnt on the risors! Someone could've been SERIOUSLY hurt! So...all in all...my goal this year is to survive 7th period Mixed Choir.

Wel, I took 2 symesters of PE last year so I dont have to take any this year. And...yeah. I've never taken a foreign language. We dont get to pick between those 3 languages until HS. Only Spanish. And to me... Spanish is boring, even though it is the most useful down here in Texas where half of our population is spanish-speaking. I'm actually learning French on my own personal time with a computer program I got called Berlitz. And...I'll probably end up taking IT in HS.

I babysit this baby (6 months) while he's sleeping... at 10 o'clock at night. I still get 10 $ an hour!!!! I do nothing but watch TV!!!
