Hey all,

Our VR is shaping up pretty well, but a few of our party want to go out after the reception meal and...well....party! :cool1:

The ceremony/photos are 3 - 4pm, we've got to have a costume change back at the hotel (Amanda can't go to the reception in her dress) and then our reception meal is at Fantasmic! 6.30 - 8pm. My MIL and FIL are taking our little one for the night at 8 so DW and I figured we could go out to a bar or club with our friends and continue the party with a few drinks!

We were considering Jelly Rolls, but from what we've read, getting a table there isn't easy unless you get there early. We're not going to be getting there until at least 9 because our meal doesn't finish until 8.

To give you an idea of what we're looking for....

It'll be around 10 of us, all over 21. We want somewhere on-site preferably, if not a short taxi ride away so no one has to drive. We want to be able to have a few drinks, but none of us are super drinkers and we're not looking to get falling down drunk, just to have a fun and entertaining night.

What would you suggest?

TIA :goodvibes

Where will you be staying? Most of the resorts have a bar or two that you can have a drink at. The Caribbean has a cabana bar. Grand Floridian has Mintzers lounge if you wanna be fancy, they usually have a band playing music just outside too. Downtown Disney has lots of trendy restaurants with bars.

What about Raglan Road? That should be a fun place for you guys! Because you live... so far from Ireland! :lmao:

Also, maybe check and see if Yeehaw Bob is performing at POR that night?

Thanks for the suggestions!

Ok, just to make it easier...

We are staying at Saratoga Springs but we'll be at DHS for the reception. Obviously, DTD will be the easiest because we can stumble back to SSR through the walkway!

I'd think at 9pm you would still have a chance at getting a table in Jellyrolls.

but maybe not for 10 people, I think most of the tables were for 4 people.

We are headed to T-rex after ours at SOG. It sounds silly, but its where we had our first Disney Date and we both love it. Plus our guests have never been so it will be even more exciting!!!!

Other than that I would say the boardwalk is just romantic in itself.

When we were married in Disney we had our brunch reception at Atlantic Dance Hall.

Here is what it looks like inside (if you have never been there). Of course if you go there there will be no tables on the dance floor.

There is no charge to get in. You can go in and listen to music, dance and get a few drinks. It is right next to Jellyrolls so you can head over there also and check it out. Right down the boardwalk there is also an ESPN club. There are arcade games and there are usually street performers in the evening. It is a great place to hang out.
