Dumb question...
I grabbed a round-trip flight for December when SW had a sale a while back, assuming that I probably would not be able to secure lodging (DVC) or time off at such late notice. I booked the Choice Preferred fare so that I did not even have to pay OOP for the EBCI which I always add anyways. Well, as luck would have it, my DVC waitlist filled, I was able to get the time off and now, they announced the Candlelight Processional narrators and a DVC Holiday Hoop-Dee-Doo which fall on the day we would be returning home. I can add a night to our reservation (for now), and I have just enought points to change our return flight to the next day. Normally, I book our flights individually as one-way trips so that it is simple to move the dates around. This time, in my haste and excitement of the dirt cheap fares, I booked it as a round trip. If we are able to secure what we want at WDW, will I be able to change just the return leg of our flight home without changing the entire itinerary? When I booked, each leg was 10K points for the Choice Preferred fare. Now, the return leg is 12,500 for the Choice Preferred, but the flight to MCO is a whopping 25,500! If I modify the return day, will that force me into the higher price for the outbound fare?
