It's in the Known Traveler Number. The easier way is to add it to your SW rewards profile and it will automatically populate when you go to book your flight.

Dumb question...
I grabbed a round-trip flight for December when SW had a sale a while back, assuming that I probably would not be able to secure lodging (DVC) or time off at such late notice. I booked the Choice Preferred fare so that I did not even have to pay OOP for the EBCI which I always add anyways. Well, as luck would have it, my DVC waitlist filled, I was able to get the time off and now, they announced the Candlelight Processional narrators and a DVC Holiday Hoop-Dee-Doo which fall on the day we would be returning home. I can add a night to our reservation (for now), and I have just enought points to change our return flight to the next day. Normally, I book our flights individually as one-way trips so that it is simple to move the dates around. This time, in my haste and excitement of the dirt cheap fares, I booked it as a round trip. If we are able to secure what we want at WDW, will I be able to change just the return leg of our flight home without changing the entire itinerary? When I booked, each leg was 10K points for the Choice Preferred fare. Now, the return leg is 12,500 for the Choice Preferred, but the flight to MCO is a whopping 25,500! If I modify the return day, will that force me into the higher price for the outbound fare?

? on checking a car seat -not the booster type- on Southwest. We will not be using the seat on the plane. Is it better to check before security along with other luggage or take through security and let them check it at the gate? I’m not sure if it will fit through a security scanner. We also will have a stroller that will be gate checking.

Thanks

If you’re not using it on the plane, I would do it with the bags no sense in lugging it through the airport if you’re not needing it. I would recommend getting one of those bags to protect it though so it’s not filthy for the little one.

WWYD? Looking at flights from DAL to MCO on 5/3/26 and flying home on 5/13/26.i have 29,848 points and DH has a little over 10K. I have a priority card and DH has the premier card. There are four of us. I want to pick seats ahead of time and have been watching YouTube videos to try to cut down on all the luggage we always bring.

I do have maybe $60 in travel credits also. I really for some reason prefer booking with points. I know I can pay a fee and get my husband’s 10,000 changed to mine. And I can get 60,000 points for $900. I still don’t think that will be enough though to book four flights both ways. Should I buy the points or just book without using points? I think I can probably book 2 or 3 flights one way with the amount of points that DH and I have together. And should I book now or wait until later? I really like to have a seat around the wings since I have read that the turbulence is less and I am already a nervous flyer.

There are several 13k flights on the outbound portion. With both of you having a card, the card holder and whoever is on the reservation will get free bags. With your card you can pick your seats at booking except for extra legroom seats.
The bad news is your DH card can not but can grab one 48 hours of check-in.

I would book 3 on your card (29k miles) and select your seats (W, A, A) in either standard or preferred. Purchase DH’s seat with cash since he doesn’t have enough points. If he books choice or higher he can grab a standard seat. If you are happy with standard then you could all be done and leave nothing to chance at this point. If you booked preferred DH can try @ 48 hours and upgrade to the middle seat of your family’s row. DH also could just pay to select the seat next to you guys at booking.

I would not buy points unless you were to buy 3k to get DH to the 13k needed for his one leg.

Right now, they are doing a sale for 50% off so the 3000 miles is $45 it ends soon though. Even with the sale Southwest is charging you 1.5 cents per point which is pretty high.

It might be wiser to just have DH earn points on both legs so he could fly one leg for free next year.

Is this yours? Or is this $60 each i.e. $240 in credits?

Remember unless they are transferable credits they have to be used by the person they were issued to.
Thank you for all your help. I just looked and i have two flight credits. One for 69.81 and the other for $19.82.

Just completed my first trips on reconfigured planes. The extra legroom seats have a lot of extra legroom. I was able to get exit row seats on both flights. I'm 6'3" and still had space after stretching my legs out all the way. Did find a couple of downsides. I took window seats on both flights and there was no armrest on the fuselage side. Happened on both sides of the aircraft. And the under seat space for the aisle seats are significantly smaller than the middle or window seats. I sat down in 3C and had to move because my backpack wouldn't fit under the seat.

So you could use those on the return leg since you would be paying cash for yourself there.
I would book all 4 on your card since yours gives you the preferred seating upfront unlike DH's card.
