Post all SW questions concerns, etc. here...

Can anyone familiar with BNA let me know if all the SW flights are usually in the same terminal? We'll have a short (45min) layover on an upcoming trip, not sure how concerned I should be about it.
I just did a quick search of the BNA airport and SW flies out of Concourse C and D.

My experience with SW is that they will not schedule you with a connection time that you cannot make. Yes, they can be short but, they are doable.

Yeah, that's what I found also - wasn't sure if they really fly out of both regularly, or if they mean "SW flies out of Concourse C except for the odd flight that sometimes goes out of D."

You can check your flights on flightaware.com. It will tell you what gate you land at and what gate your connection will board at. There is also info about what typical arrival/departure times are for your flights. If it looks close, you can upgrade to A position (at 24 hour mark) for your first leg so you can sit in the first few rows to get off first! We did this when we were passing through BNA and our connecting flight was delayed arriving from somewhere else. We didn't need the A boarding but upgraded just in case.

Got this email today. Looking forward to seeing more details.

We're embarking on one of the biggest transformations in our Company's history, and as a valued Member of our Rapid Rewards® community, I want to bring you along on our exciting journey to become an even better Southwest®.

Over the past few years, we have been making consistent enhancements to the experience we offer our Customers. We made significant investments to elevate our cabin experience with in-seat power, larger overhead bins, and better WiFi. Soon, we'll be launching more comfortable seats.

We have also conducted extensive research on our open-seating model. It showed a large majority of our Customers prefer assigned seats and premium, extra legroom seating options. As a result, flights with assigned seating and extra legroom will go on sale sometime in 2025. Open seating has served us well through our 53-year history, but it doesn't define who we are. As Customer preferences evolve, so will we.

I know you have questions about how this transformational change will affect your experience and loyalty program benefits. We are actively working through many details, including how the value of your benefits today translates into our new seating model without compromising the flexibility you appreciate. We promise to keep you informed, with our next update coming this fall.

Thank you for flying Southwest Airlines®. We don't take your loyalty for granted, and we're committed to staying true to who we are – the Southwest Airlines you love … even better.

Sincerely,

Bob Jordan
President, CEO, & Vice Chairman of the Board

I was looking at a reservation I have in late September to Orlando. The cost for the early bird is now 35.00 rather than the 25.00 that it has been in the past.

In the past I have been able to see how many free early birds I have on my Southwest credit card online account information. When checking today, I could not find the information. Does anyone know where this information is listed. I may be just missing it, but I cannot find it.

Thanks

Thanks, but I need to know how many I have to use. I used the 2 last year and it used to say when I would have my next set would be avaiable . Thats what I can not find on the Chase website when I sign into my account.

It should be based on your anniversary date of your credit card for these types of benefits.

But to find that my husband looked through his Chase account and it seems they've really buried that anniversary date. :( My husband suggested a few things: Checking Credit Karma for the date you opened the card, checking your Chase account for when the anniversary bonus points hit under the Rewards History area. Also contacting Chase is another option.

Call Chase, they were able to tell me

A few weeks ago, my DIL noticed dashboard doesn’t show the upgraded boarding count we get with our priority cards anymore. She called Chase & was told you have to look back thru your statements to check. The agent sounded surprised you could ever see them on the dashboard.

@Mackenzie Click-Mickelson DIL & I both know our anniversary dates, but sometimes you don’t remember if you used all 4 or not. The dashboard used to show… you have 2 remaining for example. Now you have to look thru several statements to see if you used them.

I sent an email to Chase to ask if it is online any longer or what I have right now. (want something in writing). I thought it said I would get 2 more in July, but wanted to make sure I would get the credit back before buying. When assigned seating starts, the early bird and the credit card reimbursing you for the cost loses a lot of value. I wonder if some other perks will be added to the credit card to replace it.

I remember seeing it too. I can see how much of the $75 travel credit I’ve used.

I can see by clicking More -> Rewards dashboard. Do you have that option?

Well that sounds all sorts of efficient 🙄

As always, efficiency is not the goal. The amount of breakage caused by customers either not being sure they have any left so they don't buy the EBCI, which is good for Chase, or that buy the EBCI they wouldn't have if they were sure they didn't have any reimbursements left, which is good for SWA.

If I don't use the free change on my flight and they change the time again will I be able to change it then? I know there's a limited time to change them and so far they still work, but I'm worried if they change them again they won't.

There is no time limit for the free change if they change your flight. The time limit is to be able to do it online. You can always call in and get it changed.

Hopefully everyone flying SW has received the plan to rebook notice sent out about 20 minutes ago. It involves many cities from Georgia up to the northeast. I decided to leave WDW a day early because I cannot spare 2 or more days away.

Got the below email from SW today. Just wondering if it’s a glitch of some sort or something I should reach out to them about. Did anyone get something similar? For the record, I did not do any transactions through SW today…
