I would be unhappy with those numbers. I can see why SWA is planning to change their seating policy.

Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I was very happy with these numbers as we didn’t purchase EBCI. I checked in 24 hours in advance!

Yes, those numbers are good when you don't buy EBCI. My husband insists on buying it.

Another update, and new to me is there is now a way to see where your luggage is.

This was super helpful when I had a bag lost this summer. It was heading to a different, nearby airport so, while I was bummed that I didn't have my bag, I was so glad that I knew it wasn't just totally lost with no idea when I'd get it back.

You can use that link. I tracked using the bag tag numbers, but I think it links back to your general confirmation code, too.

Also, after you have checked in and dropped off your bags, the app will include a Track Checked Bags button on your itinerary, which opens the web page with the status.

Hubby is ready to book what is expected to be way too expensive, but will hopefully come down, spring break flights tomorrow. I know there’s a list of historical drop times on this thread, but I’m not finding it. Could someone pretty please repost?

Flights are now available to book through April 7. Just got my Spring Break fares. About 250pp each way between Buffalo and Orlando, which is pretty close to what I've paid before for March travel.

Wow I can’t find anything at all past March 5 even tho when I opened my app it said they were available. I tried online and app and various ways. How did you do this?

I'm using my laptop with Google Chrome as the browser. I could see that the text on the booking screen indicated that flights were open through April 7 but I could still only see bookings until March 5. So I just kept refreshing the website until the calendar opened up. Strange that it's not working for everyone. I'm in Canada but I don't think that would make a difference?

Prices are very high for my dates and location (March weekdays, DCA to MCO). $149 for the trip down, $245 home. Went with American points, 9K there and 12.5K home. Plus I have an AA credit card so a free checked bag.

I have some SW credits I wanted to use, but not at those prices.

I would gladly take the $149 we had to pay $305 down but SW is one of only ways we can fly direct and I would rather take that hit then have to deal with a layover.

I went ahead and booked at the crazy high rates this morning - I'll be looking forward to getting some of that back if prices come down a bit. Those hurt a little this morning
