Possible Telephone Scam! – Warning

If you receive a phone call from one of the following companies:

Benefitz
CCPC
Consumer Finance
Consumer Service Center
PS&A
Titanium Blue
Titanium Blue/Benefits
U.S. Benefits

You may get a mailing address of:

Please don’t give them any information

What they are “trying” to sell you is an unsecured credit card and in some cases, a computer, cell phone, a satellites dish, or a travel package. The cost is $ 219.00 or higher.

They want to have your banking information and they will wire transfer the money directly out of your checking account.

What you may receive after many telephone calls to them is a package in the mail a packet offering different credit cards applications, and or certificates for various services.

While I have been looking into this – I have been told that one you are paying the money for cell phone protection, - or paying for a unsecured credit card,- or paying for a credit card, and certificates to ‘redeem’ for products like a cell phone, computer, etc.

In some cases - once you have mailed back the application for a credit card - or try to redeem the certificates for say your computer - you will get nothing in the mail.

And upon further investigation I have found out there is a criminal and cival investigation that is on going by the city of Bel Air, Maryland, The Attorney General Office of Maryland and the FTC since these people are also operating out of Canada

I refuse to give my information out over the phone to anyone. If they are legitimate they will understand this and also encourage you to call the BBB!
