We're going to be at MK on a light crowd day that has the Electrical Parade at 7:00pm.

If we grabbed a spot near the entrance of the park (before Main Street) is it doable to slip out, grab the monorail, and get to Illuminations (9pm)? We'll have two kids in tow...one in a stroller.

It's been years since we've done a MSEP...how is that area (entrance/fire station/train station) on lower crowd days? Is it typically a zoo? I would imagine many would stay for Wishes so maybe there won't be too much of a rush for the monorails?

Thanks for any insight!

Yes, completely doable and you should have no issues making it there in time assuming nothing out of the ordinary happens.

You could also consider skipping the monorail and taking a bus to the Beach Club. That short walk or boat ride will dump you at the International Gateway - from there you can quickly grab a dessert pastry or ice cream in France (apparently this is required? says so in the guidebook) and then find a spot for Illuminations.

Thanks guys. :thumbsup2

Good idea on the bus. Only negative is our boys LOVE the monorail. It ranks up there as one of their favorite rides.

With a stroller, the monorail will be much easier since you won't have to take the kid out, fold it up etc.
