Nice, can't wait to eat here in like 3 years
Yes, @DonMacGregor would you consider editing the thread title now that the situation has dramatically changed?I feel like this thread needs to be renamed. Everytime I see it I get a sinking feeling thinking that the DtD Porto's has been cancelled (even though I've seen the title several times now)
I had forgotten I started the thread, but it’s been fixed already…LOLYes, @DonMacGregor would you consider editing the thread title now that the situation has dramatically changed?
They going to expand all the way to the gates. That's huge and a dedicated table service? Santa ana is big and doesn't even have that.
Existed to save time driving if they have full service and order ahead options like other sites.
Better than Pete Shweddy’s possibly…A coworker brought in a ton of Porto’s yesterday. Potato balls mmmmm mmmmmmmm
I didn’t realize it was going to be that big to where they were going to take out two ticket booth and extend it down that far into the Esplanade. It’ll be worth it.Looks like permits have been filed. Sounds like it will be HUGE.
I've been to Burbank and Northridge, and they are large, but maybe I'm just mis-measuring the current footprint at DTD in my head. Can't wait!If you've ever been to the one down the way, you'll know how big it needs to be. Even without the cake side of the bakery, lines are.massive.
Really hoping quick order will be in play or their own pre-orders on their website.
Glad they are expanding this as the footprint was just too small for portos

Yeah, restaurant and new looks are going to improve the area
That place is going to be packed
Why can’t you eat there if it’s busy? Everyone will get a turn.Which means I will likely never eat there. But by the time I go again after it has opened it will likely have lost it's shine so that should help, maybe.
