Portofino Pool Hours July

Hi!

We are so looking forward to our first stay at the Portofino hotel in July. Our flight is due to arrive in Orlando at 3:30 - we figure best case we will check in the hotel between 4:30-5:00.

Since our boys will most likely be starved, we will probably get an early dinner and then hit the pool.

I know this hotel has several - does anyone know how late they stay open?

Also, I know they allow pets - and we really want to avoid that floor - does anyone know which is the "pet floor"?

During the peak summer season the restaurants stay open late. You can eat by the pool as well. Sal's, Mama's, Trattoria del Porto should all still be open till 11P. You can also get room service 24 hours a day. Another option is a quick boat ride over to CityWalk to grab something to eat, late night.

As far as pets go...I am sure they try and keep a certain area for pets and I would guess its on ground level (easier access to walk them), but I have seen them on different floors and in each wing so you may wanna call and have it marked in your reservation that you would like to avoid pets.

Ahh just re-read, you mean how late are the pool open! LOL There are 3 and a few hot-tubs and one cold water plunge pool. In the summer the beach pool is open till 11-12. I'm not sure if the villa pool even closes and the east side pool, dont know the hours.

Thank you, JessicaR for all your help! I'm glad to hear the pools are open late in the evening - I know at some of the Disney deluxe hotels the quiet pools are open 24 hours, but the theme pools close early. Looks like we will be able to swim no matter how late we get settle - that seems like the perfect way to start our vacation.

Thanks also for all the info on the restaurants - that's very helpful, too!

I'll have to make sure when we call to confirm our reservations just before we leave that mention we would prefer NOT to be in the pet area.

I can't wait for this trip!
