We're leaving for DLR Saturday morning and already have a reservation at the Portofino Inn and Suites. Total of six (me, wife, 2-kids and grandparents) we're planning on sharing a kids suite which looks nice. I recently noticed we could book two rooms at APH for about the same price. Advantages seem to be two rooms vs sharing one and closer to park. Which should I chose? TIA!

I have stayed at portofino last year April in a kids suite. I liked it, I would stay again if the price was right lol. The rooms were a bit worn, but still nice and clean.
For me it was a bit too far to walk at night so we took the ART everynight back. But I am a big fan of interior corridors and portofino has those :) I cannot comment on AP have never been there. Hth

ETA: I guess I should comment on the adult sleeping situation at portofino.
The kids Suite does have a pull out sofa that isn't quite queen more of a double size. I slept on that, while it's not uncomfortable it's still not a bed lol
so 4 adults may be more comfortable in 2 rooms at the AP than a kids suite.
