Portion Sizes At Narcoossee's

We have ADR's there on August 10th, I am so excited!! I have been looking at the menu and want to completely stuff myself with good food since this is the only ADR we have and our only plan right now for a nice dinner. The Maine lobster sounds delicious, does anyone know how big it is, and also the sides? Also, since I like variety, I'm leaning more towards the surf and turf, is the lobster the same size/taste? How big are the fillets? Any suggestions? I know, I probably sound like a COW, but we aren't doing appetizers or a dessert! I just would like to know in advance what we are getting for the amount of money we will be spending! Thanks DISer's!

I got the lobster last year. It came with a side of asparagus, and potato gratin (potatoes = ...I cannot even express how much I loved them).

Surf and turf only includes the lobster tail, not the claws or anything else, so I'm not sure what you were referring to by size of the lobster. I will guess, though, that the twin medalions are not all that big (usually medalions, by virtue of their name, aren't huge).

It's tough for me to tell you how to go if you're thinking in terms of how much food is being offered, since I had already stuffed myself on mussels prior to the lobster coming out...but as for quality and taste, I was really happy with my choice.

Oh my goodness - yep - you just made my mind up! No if, ands or buts, I'm getting the Maine Lobster!!

Hi there! I've never been to Narcoossee's but I'm from Maine and will endorse our lobster! I'm told that the surf and turf is the lobster tail from a spiny tailed lobster-- NOT EVEN CLOSE to the same thing. Go big and get the whole Maine lobster. They're delish.
