I don't mind it when the DRC staff don't know absolutely everything about everywhere (WDW is massive, and very few people know everything). However the correct procedure is to admit it, and let the guest know that you'll find out the answer for them.

What I do hate is when they are positively, authoritatively, definitively, patronisingly... 100% wrong.

I'm also pretty sure that you will be able to get garden view rooms in Alligator Bayou by the way, but that is still to be confirmed, feel free to belive the DRC version.

Andre

Thanks Andre, I believed they were just blowing smoke in that member's thoughts.

So... PP mentioned that the murphy style bed we keep hearing about might look like those used at Aulani. That made great sense to me, so I googled because I am dying to see what they'll do and I found this pic of a model at Aulani. Amazing huh? I hope this is what they use. We're a family of 5 so this would be so great! Now I've got my hopes up.

That is so cool!

Thanks for posting this. Not that I'll ever need the use of one I was wondering how it was going to work.

Andre,
How long do you think we'll have to wait for pictures? Your best guess and we know it's a guess.

I rather doubt I'll get anything that I can post much before the first rooms are opened to the public. As Backstage Gal said, until the rooms are re-opened to guests, these areas would technically be regarded as backstasge, so CMs would not be allowed to post photos any sooner.

Of course, there's always the chance that we'll get a 'secret agent' snap in the meantime, like we did with FQ when one of the workers left a refurbed room door open that was easily accessible...

Any offers from anyone who will be there early-November? We'll all club together to bail you out if necessary... :)

Since I had some secret agent experience last year at POFQ, and will be at POR next week, I would love another daring adventure but guess it will be a bit early for me to try to get any this trip. Hopefully someone else will be brave enough to try it. I must admit it was a little unnerving but yet kind of fun, too. :rotfl:

This is where having someone who worked there would pay off. Then we would know all the details.

I treid to get some pics at POFQ when they were doing the refurb last year.

I did the old "I am an architect and now a construction manager" routine with the superintendent. He wasn't budging.

Disney keeps things pretty much under the vest for good reason; it is all about the illusion and the grandeur of the announcement. I sure wouldn't like to be the one posting pics before Disney had a chance to unveil their new royal rooms.

Yeah I'll be there the week they open. I will upload royal pics that night of the room.
