I rather doubt I'll get anything that I can post much before the first rooms are opened to the public. As Backstage Gal said, until the rooms are re-opened to guests, these areas would technically be regarded as backstasge, so CMs would not be allowed to post photos any sooner.

Of course, there's always the chance that we'll get a 'secret agent' snap in the meantime, like we did with FQ when one of the workers left a refurbed room door open that was easily accessible...

Any offers from anyone who will be there early-November? We'll all club together to bail you out if necessary... :)

Andre

i have a 16yo stealth ninja daughter who i will put to the task... we will be there the 18th of november...

"Stealth Ninja Daughter" love that. The made me laugh this morning. Better have the dslr on sport speed shot mode. If your going to be doing a walk by on it.

I'm thinking that under normal circumstances having a '16 yo ninja stealth' daughter may be (from a parental pov) a little disconcerting but in this situation, yea for us!!

I know that if I had a day away from the parks I would wait for their lunch time and try then. Keep in mind if a door is closed and you open it, technically it is trespassing.

<thwack>

(gonna try a larger font and flashing colours next time) :)

Hey Andre, what lenses can I use to achieve the 360? In the royal room. I know you mentioned 10-20mm but if I can't get one of them before going. I need an alternate, can it be done with 18-55?

Go stealth ninja daughter! :cool1: We operatives on the homefront will be standing by with bated breath waiting for the secret documents! :cool2:

Shhhhhh......

so I am confused..are the new rooms larger? Looking at this picture again, I guess they could put a murphy bed in place of the dresser..but can you see the bed already hangs over into the doorway of the bathroom..I bumped my knee on that more than once this weekend..it will be a tight fit with the beds and the MB open

Idk but I do see what you mean!

I have a riverview booked because that was all that was available. Now standard view has opened up now for my dates. I love the idea of riverview but I am second guessing the cost. I do not want a pool view (noise) or a parking lot view (though it would put me close to the rental). I love to hear any and all opinions. It is already paid for.

Well I would stick to river view if you do not want either of those views. You have a chance, almost 75% chance you will get the not wanted views if you were to down grade. I don't guarantee it but it is pretty good chance. That is why they make them look like such a good deal. You can try and down grade and when you get there ask for a room in a certain area, but again it can be risky and there is never a guarantee you will get that.

Hope it helps.

I am use to the deluxe so a view always sorta mattered to me because I like to sit on the balcony and drink my coffee..but at POR, we had a standard room that looked out to grass which was nice (so is the new window seat) but I kept the blinds closed mostly because I didn't want people looking in (something that doesn't happen with a balcony lol)

I think the river view might be noisy just because the people walking around the river..maybe keep the standard and ask for "quiet" area

I can relate except when I had a second floor river view at POR and never had issues with noise or foot traffic.

Got visions of paparazzi-style holding camera up against darkened windows to glimpse the celebs inside cars...
