We are often the headless chicken scenario here also with last minute things. About hiding stuff from being seen, we do the same also, hiding the trip triage in the spare room across from our bedroom.

I think that I am the more excited than anyone else in my house. It seems that every other night I'm looking at paperwork that I have gathered to take with us and everyday I'm on the DIS boards doing "research" as I tell my DH:lmao:

Oh yeah!!!!!! I love this suggestion!!! And if they' re wearing Montreal jerseys I'll feel more at home! Allez Les Habs!!!! :)

Canada Pavillion is set in the 1800s. That's why they wear the plaid. Because Canadians did wear a LOT of plaid in those days.

lol And they will NEVER wear hockey jerseys for the reason that they would never make everyone happy. We would all want them wearing our favorite teams jerseys.

Yeah us also. We start our dinner resies at 180 days on the dot. And the misses is always obsessing more about the paperwork than me, but I obsess on here.

Had to share my excitement! I am out of the 200's countdown and into the 100's now! 198 days to be exact, lol! Hurry up November! :)

Looking over the last few pages, I think I can see how we outgrew the last POR FAQ thread so quickly...

Enjoying reading it all, but does anyone have anything to say about Port Orleans Riverside, rather than pre-packing arrangements, countdowns, and clothing in Canada? ;)

:) :)

Andre - you have went and done it - you made POR FAQ such a fun place to visit! :rotfl2:

I quite agree!

Oh alright, flattery worked - I guess I'll just have to resign myself to creating the next one around the end June then... :rotfl:

And as the British saying goes, "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em", so...

110 days 23 hours and about 30 minutes until I'm standing in front of the registration desk at Port Orleans Riverside again! Woot! :goodvibes

I think it is because we are all so excited to get back to POR or to go the first time that we can't help talking about packing and counting down. Who else would understand how excited we are?

Thinking why am I staying at poly and not POR again? I got pin codes two of them today!

B E C A U S E I T I S! :hourglass

come on a get here, September!

Hahaha! Yes, but as soon as we get there, time seems to speed up! It's awful! This week at POR FLEW by! And it took a few days for us to figure out the quickest way back to building 34 from the main building! We saw an awful lot of the resort while we were lost (man those AB buildings all look the same) - Not that that was a bad thing, however! It's so pretty!

Come on back to the homeland! You know your little girl would love the Royal Rooms. Or just do a split stay.

I'm not sure if I should ask here or on POFQ thread.. Do you guys remember when POR was called Dixie Landings. Was POFQ has always been called POFQ or was POFQ was part of Dixie Landings? Thanks. ..and why did they change the name?

I remember when they were two separate resorts! I think it was just called Port Orleans at the time, but someone with a better memory will be along, I'm sure! :) Andre has a great explanation of the history on his official website - I just found it!
