I just got back from POR last week after staying at Pop Century the past few years. The level of crazy at POR's food court ain't nuthin' compared to the crazy at Pop Century.

You tend to find there is craziness at the food courts at the values, because just about everyone uses it.

At mods, a lot of us, like me, love the HUGE breakfast option, snacks and then a nice sit-down dinner. But many people have ressies for character breakfasts, etc. And are off to the parks.

OK, finished working on the recent panoramas. I've still got some minor stitching errors on one of the lobby views (#1), but not bad enough to be worth spending a long time manually correcting.

They're on my site of course (at http://www.portorleans.org/panoramas.php) and you can view or download them directly via the following links. Right-Click and select "Save Target As..." to save each one to your own PC, they look great full-screen. There are also Quicktime versions on the website, for those Flash-challenged folks who are unlucky enough to have iPhones or iPads. :)

Hey Andre, after looking at this I don't quite remember what do they do for royal corner rooms? What I am specifically asking about is where the banners with the princes and princesses and mirror between are where another window would be in a corner room. Where do they relocate the banners and mirror to?

Like right here would be where the second window would be!

I am sooooo excited!!!! Just a few more days. Finally staying at Riverside!!! Hoping for a possible upgrade to a Royal suite as when I last talked yesterday, they have many of them still left available and empty for when we arrive.

The Alligator Bayou rooms look great too though :yay:

I did ask, and the banners go either side of the TV. Not sure about the mirror, but I think they just lose it like they do in other corner rooms.

I was about to do online check in when I saw this:

Ground Transportation
You have chosen Disney's Magical Express!
We still need your flight information in order to arrange your Disney's Magical Express pick-up and drop-off times. Please come back to disneyworld.com and enter your flight information through the My Disney Vacation section. Or, you can call us at (407) 939-7675†.

Our TA booked our flights separately. (no idea why) I thought the Disney Magical express was always at the airport sort of hanging out during their available pick up times. Do I really need to call or can I continue with online check in? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Running into snags with online check-in...says I haven't entered an email address. I'm not a computer idiot. anyone else experiencing issues? Also, I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to add a room request! There just isn't anywhere to type.

I'm on my desktop and having the same issue. When I click add a room request it brings up a box, but won't allow me to type in it. Did you ever get it resolved?

No. I'm trying to fax now, and that's turning into a dead end too. Seems their fax is busy?had to call POR directly to get the fax #. It's wrong on the web page.

Yeah I knew the regular mirror got removed, so that makes sense they do it again. Banners hmm I guess that works out. Thanks I hadn't had a chance to ask or go by.

You can still do online check-in. You can then call ME and let them know your flight info though you probably won't get your vouchers in the mail. You'll have to check-in at the ME desk to get your voucher in order to get on a bus. Buses are coming and going all the time so you would be put on the next available bus that is going to your resort.

Can you post the fax number? :)

I'm excited for all of you at the airport and heading there. I've got 8 more days!! :cool1:

Well there wont be a bus for you.... Just kidding.

I haven't had a chance to read every post in this thread, but I do have a question (hopefully it hasn't been asked/answered already).

We are heading to Disney in January with another family. We'll be a group of 8 and are staying in Royal Guest Rooms. Are there connecting rooms there? When I called to add dining to our reservation, the CM I was speaking with told me there probably weren't connecting rooms but she wasn't sure. She thought we'd likely get placed across the hall from each other. Does anyone know for sure if there are actually connecting rooms??

Thanks on the fax #. The girl I talked to at POR said it was different. I dialed wrong the first time, so I stand corrected, the fax # isn't wrong on the web page...I'm embarassed. Sorry.

Did I mention I hate faxes?

On a brighter note...I have only three days!

One week from today we check in I can't wait!
This will b our first stay in one room 2 adults three kids 12,10,7 will we b tripping over each other? We have always stayed value in two rooms
